Her class is not extremely easy but she IS the dean of CASL so it was kind of expected. She is really nice though and all of her directions and assignments are very clear. Her syllabus is precise and has EVERYTHING you do in the class in it.

Great professor your can tell she is one of the best in her field. When you take anthro you have to speak that language so you better accept cultural relativism at least for the semester. I don't like anthropology must but I really enjoyed and learned from course. Show up, take notes, read text you will be fine. Take classes from good prof like her

Dr. Katie tends to use her students as lab-rats (not neccessarily a bad thing, but a bit odd). She is extremely knowledgeable about ANTH and brings fascinating life experiences to the classroom. She expects you to learn critical thinking/complex analysis skills, but at least she chooses exciting topics. Hint: develop good research/writing skills.

Great professor, highly recommended, very accomplished. If you are interested in anthropology, she is the professor to choose. If you are not however, you may want to look elsewhere.

Poor tests, very unlear. Paper that were written were poorly judged. Favortism towards the men in class. And taught a introduction class as a graduate class. What was on the study guide was not on the test. Would not suggest.

I do not recommend taking Dr. Anderson-Levitt for 101 (take Matthew Kappel instead-the best!) 'Dr.A' teaches this intro class as if it's a graduate level course. TOO HARD! She turned me off of Anthropology!
