this prof. created the material for the class i took, including the textbook used, so he was very knowledgeable about the subject. always helps you if you ask for it. Some mistake him for dry while I found him just quiet. He was funny if you caught his jokes. homework not required but strongly urged. reviews for all test material the day before.

Very nice man who is understanding and helpful. Even though he is a bit dry, class is easy and you walk away learning something with little work. He was one of the best profs of a mandatory general.

Not only is Ken a great guy, but he is extremely knowledgeable. I recommend him over any other professor in the math department. He would have been my advisor if math was my major (but it was only my minor).

Comment:

Be careful if he uses his own text. Class was difficult becasue he had many errors in the book including formulas. It made it difficult to do any homework because everyting was wrong. Also be prepared for tests. One exam lasted about two hours (not a final) and was scheduled for a one hour time slot. Once in a while he has a good joke.

One word, NERD! The class is easy but the prof might kill you with his very very very dry math humor about interest rates and such. So if you have to take a class with him bring caffene or a brick to throw at him to make it stop!
