Professor Weiher has high expectations for his students but teaches the material really well. He posts lecture reviews for each class and review sheets ahead of the tests. Tests and quizzes are somewhat challenging but if you attend class, they are no problem. Take him! You'll learn a lot.

Weiher is an amazing professor who really knows his stuff. This class is really set up for you not to fail. Your "textbook" is a note pack he puts together that he tests over. You take 5 quizzes, he drops one but all of the quizzes have bonus questions to help. Lectures are entertaining and Weiher is a fun professor to have.

Prof Weiher is amazing. You cannot fail this class. I don't have hard data on that, but he literally spoon feeds you the information. He's written a note pack that you must purchase, but you're not required to purchase the book. Good trade off in my opinion, because everything he does in class comes directly from the note pack.

Great professor, the lectures are pretty dry and he knows it. He tries to make the classes fun and his real world examples are pretty funny. Super relatable examples, and he teaches from his own notebook. I needed an upper lvl fin credit and I'm glad I chose his course. Be prepared to study the lecture notes as they are the basis of test questions

Helpful, approachable guy w/ a good sense of humor so classes don't drag on as much. Basically lectures all class, reviews like 10 questions from it next class, then gives 2 exams and a final based off those questions. There's also a 2 page paper due a little after midterms. One of my favorite econ professors I've had. Eco. History of U.S.

Very good professor, the class is laid back but definitely teaches you what you need to know. Everything is based on a notebook that you print out and hand outs he gives you, so there is no need for a textbook. He also has a good sense of humor.

Great professor, best Eco professor i have taken...possibly one of my favorite professors at UTSA. The course does require some studying, you can not simply "wing" this class. I will be taking Dr. Weiher again next semester, i would suggest him to anyone.

I have taken Weiher for 3 classes and there is NO better professor to take an Econ course from. Provides notes for you and tests are directly from them, so your never left guessing what will be on the test. Few hrs cramming before the test and listening in most class will result in an easy A. No class + solid cramming= B-C depending on intelligence

He is a great professor. Class is enjoyable and you will learn a lot from him. Make sure to study his notes and you'll do fine.
