You cannot go wrong taking a class with Dr. Floyd. He's fair, patient, engages students, and allows room for your own creativity on final projects. Definitely one of the best professors in the IT department. Highly recommended.

Senior Capstone. Dr. Floyd is a patient teacher. The group work was rigorous but I think Dr. Floyd did a great job letting the groups manage their assigned projects and stepping in for advice or corrective guidance as required.

Definitely one of the best minds in the IT dept of MSC. If you want a quality prof that is helpful, knowledgeable, and fair, go with this guy. He teaches a variety of classes, so I usually have at least 1 class of his each semester, and usually enjoy his classes.

I went into this class with a solid understanding of web programming so it wasn't too difficult. Some of my online classmates did not fair as well. He definitely knows his stuff and is willing to help. The class is no cakewalk though. Tests are multiple choice but are in code, so each choice is really long. You have to study and know your stuff.

Excellent and fast responses to answers, knew the subject matter. Only con are tests, multiple choice excellent however, the questions jump all over the subject matter, Ch 14, the Chapter 1, chapter 5 etc... increasing confusion factor and really not positive re-enforcement of subject matter learned. Will sign up for more classes with him.

Difficult course but he is patient. He teaches well and gave us the option of working on project exams rather than just taking the regular multiple choice style. I loved that as it let us use more of our own creativity and was closer to real world situations. I learned a lot!
