I was excited to take the online class. I enjoyed the first assignment. But, then the social justice issues became part of every assignment there after. I was disappointed that these issues had to be brought into the classroom. I just wanted to learn by reading worthwhile curriculum. Kinda lost my enthusiasm at that point.

Comment:

Professor Moreno is one of the best professors at LBCC. She is very nice and cares for the students. She makes class fun and enjoyable. 5 essays that are easy to write. She is a very helpful professor. Her lectures are very clear and understandable. She is very easy to talk to and approachable. She helped me better understand the writing process.

Currently taking her online class and it has been the BEST English class ever! Love her topics, only 4 essays and her due dates work really well with my schedule. Very light assignments, alot of discussions post with classmates which makes it seem like you are in an actually class. She is very caring and responds quick to emails.

the most understanding professor at LBCC you take a step deeper into literature. youre forced to using critical thinking. the homework was light , just little things here and there ! essays are important make sure youre giving your full attention when writing your essays. other than that a pretty smooth course. im so sad the semester is over !

I loved her! Her class was by far the best writing class I've ever taken. She gives great feedback on every assignment and she responds quickly to emails. Her essay topics and assignments are very intriguing. 5 essays overall & they're not hard at all. Wish she taught english 3! ):

I took Professor Moreno's online class over the summer and she was awesome! Her topics for her assignments are super interesting and fun , and she gives great feedback. She's is also extremely helpful via email when you have any questions. Overall great experience.

Great class lectures! Ms. Moreno definitely is helpful and gives great feedback. Makes the class enjoyable. Not a tough reacher, is fair to everyone. I definitely recommend to take her class. I myself hope to take her English 1 class in the future.

AMAZING TEACHER. I don't know how much clearer I can be. She truly helped my writing and she was always so willing to help. If you want to pass, you will pass. All you need to do is turn in your work on time. If you struggle on the essays, she will help you. Just ask. I think there were 3 essays + the in class final.

She is really nice but her lectures weren't that long at all and some occasions you were confused especially in the work cited you needed to figure that one on your own. Also, she really didn't give me good feedback towards my essays . :(

Comment:

Prof. Moreno is wonderful!!! The beginning of the semester has more readings and writings than the end. Every class period there is a quiz, but if you do the reading you will be fine. They are graded on a check system. She assigned 3 essays, 3-5 pages, and integration of outside literary criticism. She helps you through the essay so listen!

She's a really good teacher, I had her for my first semester (eng105) and liked the way she taught so I went back to take her English 1 class. She's very nice, a good teacher who gives good feedback, I recommend her class 100% if I could repeat both semesters with her I would, that's how good of a teacher she is.

Approachable for feedback, especially during office hours. In fact, she insists you take the opportunity to do so. Makes sure her students have what they need to succeed (no, seriously). Encourages participation, which gives rise to interesting class discussions. A fair amount of note-taking. Supportive.

I am not very good at English but she has helped me understand a lot more than I did before entering her class for the first time. She is always there to help you if you ask for it. She is an amazing teacher and I am taking her next semester for English 1 (currently in English 105).

Really helpful. Very understanding and gives great feedback on paper. The quizzes are so easy, she goes over what's going to be on there 10 minutes before. The essays are super simple and self explanitory. Everything you learn you will use, taking her again forsure!
