Comment:

Kirstin gives amazing lectures. She is very knowledgable about her subject but her class is extremely hard. She is a hard grader when it comes to assignments and exams as well-- she has high expectations. A break in the middle of class would have been nice. Dimmed lights early in the morning makes it hard to focus for hours straight.

Loved the Designed Environment. What a great class! Really enjoyed the long walks outside while learning about architecture in the city. Kristin is very knowledgable and I look forward to taking a few more classes with her!

The things Kristin taught me still surface today years later. I don't recall a class I enjoyed more than Designed Environment from Kristin Anderson and Chris Kimball. As a concierge at a Historic Hotel, no other class prepared me more for my career. Furthermore, I will forever have a crush on her.

This woman knows her stuff and makes learning insteresting. The best part of this class - the long walks outside while you're learning. My advice would be to bring a camera and take copius notes. She's a fair grader - but you have to do your work.

I would definitely recommend taking a class with Kristin. Her tests are not easy, but you will learn a lot. It's sometimes hard to stay awake in her class after a late night because the classroom is always dark... but it is an interesting class. If you have any interest in art history you'll like it

I think Kristin Anderson is awesome. This was just a requirement for me to have the course but I learned a lot about architecture which I didn't know before. This is nice to be well educated in terms of general history of architecture as well. She is very funny, it takes time to get into her humor but then you laugh hard.
