She was AMAZING! The tests are not super easy but if you really go over all the powerpoints you are set. The first exam is the hardest and the last is the easiest! She is so full of life and so passionate about art history. She really knows how to make it interesting and is really awesome. She is always willing to help you in any way. Take her!

My favorite professor at Mason! Loved her Renaissance art classes, she is very passionate about her subject and her students. Absolutely take her if you have the chance. She's really funny, and class is never boring.

One of the best teachers at Mason! She is very passionate about her subject and students. I was never bored and always went to class (even though it was 9 a.m.) I highly recommend this class! She tells you that the book isn't necessary- just google the art images for the 3 tests. There are also 2 (pretty easy) papers.

Professor Bauman is awesome! please ignore anyone that says differently! she is so clear about everything and as long as you attend class and study, its a breeze! Yes she doesnt hand out study guides and she hands out an attendance sheet in every class but otherwise she's funny, open-minded to your ideas, and really easy to listen to!

You have to go the the National art musuem for this class and even if you go and complete the project you still get a low grade if you don't answer the questions like she expects. SHE NO LONGER HANDS OUT STUDY GUIDES. So you have to attend every class b/c she keeps attendance. If you arn't an art nerd don't take this class!!!! Very stupid

excellent teacher, extremely passionate about the subject, her class is very fun, lectures are very clear, her slides are the best, and i l loved the way she explained them. her exams are kind of hard, but as long as u attend regularly and pay attention, you'll do fine, highly recommended.

Prof. Bauman is the BEST teacher at Mason. Her class is sooo fun and easy! You buy your books online, but don't really use them or need them. She talks a lot about Greek myths and her exams consist of ID'ing slides and short answer questions. Definitely take her for your fine arts gen ed requirement!!!

Easy,fun,enjoyable class. She is very enthusiastic about art and clear about what is important. Three non-cumulative exams including the final, fun small project. She is such a cool professor. I loved both classes that I took with her, and she is the reason why I started Art History in the first place. I would recommend her class to anyone who wants to have fun, and also wants a professor that is fair and clear to her students. :)

Professor Bauman is amazing. I'm a Govt major and she made this the funnest and most interesting class and for me has become the best professor I've taken at Mason. Take her if you can, she's a lot of fun, always cracking jokes and weaving interesting stories into the course and lecture. Assignments are fairly easy and straightforward.very helpful.
