Dr. spitzer is the most amazing person on the planet. I'm shocked that anyone would have a bad thing to say about her. she cares more about sharing the knowledge of music than anything. The woman is a saint, a genius and is a complete rarity as a teacher. one will not ever find a better teacher.

Dr. Spitzer works hard for her students. As a piano professor, she is not a good choice for everyone. She works well with some students. She performed as a concert pianist for many years. She is more of a performer than a teacher. She is one of the most diligent professors at NMSU music department.

maybe the best teacher I've ever had in any subject. her extraordinary passion for the piano is inspiring, and she explains concepts with great lucidity. she used to travel the country in an RV (its pet name is "trucky") with a Steinway grand attached to the wall in order to bring classical music to backwater towns.
