This system only allows you three tags. Here are several more that need to be selected for this teacher: caring, inspirational, clear grading criteria, hilarious, and amazing lectures. My favorite professor ever, she is extremely intelligent, knowledgeable, approachable, and charming (like Mary Poppins!). I learned a great deal in her class.

This class is all papers and projects, no tests. Dr. Ingraham is very approachable and friendly, I liked her a lot. The class is straight-forward, 3 formal writing assignments and a group project at the end of the semester. I did actually learn new things about writing from this classhow it applies to the classroom so I'd definitely recommend her.

You will spend a lot of time discussing writing strategies, rhetorical effects, grammatical choices, and ways to teach writing. Participating makes class a lot more fun! Dr. Ingraham is EXTREMELY helpful, if you ask. If you complete your assignments properly, attend class regularly, and follow her suggestions and ask for help, YOU WILL MAKE AN A!

Most pointless class that I have taken at UTC. Half of your final grade is based on a portfolio, so the entire semester is a waiting game for grades. BORING, and not helpful at all with answering questions. Assigns a lot of busy work writing chapter summaries of the text and discussing them in class. Not what I expected out of a 4000 level class

BORING. DRY. MONOTONOUS. Be sure you drink plenty of caffeine before coming to class, because you'll need it to stay awake. Her lectures & teaching style seem like she's teaching to elementary students. The class isn't engaging at all!

Nice teacher but strange. Class seems fairly useless. She deserves the benefit of a doubt most of the time but her 'sicknesses' are so frequent that it makes you wonder. Class seems like a total waste of time.

This was the most ridiculous professor I've ever had. Due to her health issues, she cancelled class probably half the semester! She would act like she was willing to help us but when it came down to it, she wouldn't answer emails or phone calls and was never in her office. She grades VERY unfairly!! You basically have one grade in that class. AWFUL

Dr. Ingraham was a good professor. She is willing to work with students and will give both honest and beneficial feedback on all papers. Her class falls on a medium. Its not too hard; however it's not too easy. Work hard and make sure to spend time revising your portfolio to ensure a good grade!

Dr. Ingraham is a very nice teacher. She goes out of her way to help other students. During my semester we sold the argument book back to the bookstore because she had it online to use. BUT KEEP KEYS FOR WRITERS!!!! We mainly have assignments in her class to do and she gives you her comments about then give you the rest of the semester to finish.

A straight shooter, very intelligent with a dry sense of humor. Is personable but also extremely professional. Manageable but challenging work. Highly recommended for grad classes.

This was the first class at UTC I haven't had trouble sitting through--she had everything planned out ahead of time and we blew through a lot of information in a short time. I do wish she graded a little tougher and gave more feedback--this was a graduate class. Her broad understanding of composition theory made our discussions very productive.

Just listen for a second...if a professor is head of the department they don't play. They take what they do serious and sometimes they want you to think like them. That's all I'm going to say.

Looking back I value her class so much. At first the readings were hard, but now I realize that it's graduate level reading. Before this class I never knew there were so many journals that I need to be reading. Writing the critical paper gave me the writing sample I need for PhD applications.

I enjoyed my class with her. I felt confident when I left it, and my post-class experience has proven the immediate reality of many issues we covered. She seems to ride on the "bandwagon" of popular composition theory a little, but perhaps with
