Other than my parents, he is the best instructor I've had in my life. A true master of pedagogy and languages. He knows his craft to the extent that is humanly possible. I wish he could be my lifelong mentor. Simply a genius.

An excellent History teacher, especially at the general level, but very rewarding for those interested in upper-division Medieval studies. He doesn't care for memorizing dates, and has plenty of interesting back-stories to many historical events.

Excellent professor, but be prepared to work. Must go to class each day and take good notes. Course consists of only 3 to 4 tests (all essay). Gives good study guides.
