nice lady hard class. boring lectures on artists. difficult quizes if you dont buy the book. go to the TA review sessions! 2 gallery visits and write-ups, 50 sketches IF YOU WANT A C are mandatory and time consuming. attendance mandatory. take if you like art, are good at sketching, and put in work. will call you out for texting or talking in class

The class is called Backgrounds in Art. The TA knew more about it. Liz only cares and knows about modern art. The class is for third graders, you draw with chalk outside and fingerpaint. I thought it would be an easy A, especially as an Art History major, but she is unclear about everything so I got a B. It's a joke, shes crazy.

without the TA i would have failed this class. her tests are extremely hard if you dont go to the review sessions and people who didn't failed. her projects are annoying too. she tells u to do 50 sketches but forgets to say that only gets you a C when really you have to do 80 to get an A

She is a nice lady but a horrible teacher. She just lectures about the paintings in the book but doesn't have any really notes that you can physically write down. Personally we had an awesome TA who pretty much taught us everything and made the quizzes easy, without that TA I would have failed.

She keeps attendance! so go to class! the majority of your grade is a sketchbook of like 50+ sketches. She will accept anything you do in it. (i did mine in Class) if you put in extra work and sketches, MAJOR bonus points. test are weird. all multiple choice, review sessions are with TA and are helpful (EC for going) she only uses the projector

The projects were fun but this class can be a lot of work if you are not interested in art. If you are proactive she is very helpful and full of advice she is also willing to discuss your test results with you if you do not do so well. I emphasize that you have to be proactive if you want help though.

one time she refused to give a student a quiz. story:she had to leave before the Fri. class so she needed to take the quiz in the library...she met there, only to find out that Liz Sharp ment the Slide Library. they cleared up the confusion the next week but THE TEACHER DIDNT LET HER TAKE THE QUIZ

tests have 2 right answers on them, its absolute garbage. She is a nice person and always willing to help you. But YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOU GOT WRONG ON A TEST. She doesn't even mark the ones you got wrong.

Is by far the easiest teacher I have had. She leaves a sheet out that you or a friend signs you in on for attendance. You can take notes if you want to waste paper, ink, and sleep time. No need to go to class. Just go to review sessions and you will pass!
