I don't expect to be social with my professors. They are there to teach; not be my friend. She is a wonderful English teacher. I had her for Eng. 101 and I am currently taking her for Eng. 102. If you come to class and actually try and do your work it will pay off. Also she likes when students are respectful!

I was surprised to read these negative comments. Ms. Crabtree is a great instructor. I had surgery at the beginning of the semester and she was very understanding. I found her to be very nice and helpful. Whether or not you like her, which I do, you can't deny she doesn't know what she's doing. GREAT INSTRUCTOR!

Meh. I always leave halfway through class because she carries on with non-sense that has nothing to do with the lessons. Her assignments aren't the hardest but she's clearly bias on certain paper topics. Most of all, if you're looking for an explanation on how to do the paper she's assigning, be prepared to read about it because she won't discuss it very well. Seriously, she starts to write notes on the board and writes three words and she's into a story that has nothing to do with the topic.

Worst teacher at SCC...She never smiles, seems to have an axe to grind. I won't ever take her again, and you should avoid her at ALL COSTS...Needs to get a nicer demeanor if she wants my tuition money.

I think Mrs. Crabtree is a great Instructor. I would not have made it if it were not for her help. In Fact I still go to her to proof read my papers. Anyone who has trouble in her class clearly just did not try.
