Comment:

Overall, she wasn't a terrible teacher. Her homework was easy and would take at the most 10 minutes, but you need to do all of them to have a good grade. The grading criteria for essays would be unclear for a lot of it and I wouldn't know where I got points off. The last essay is an easy A, and she gives bonus points at the end of the semester.

She is extremely sarcastic which isn't what I personally like, she grades essays in a weird way she's just complicated with essays.

Easy B, makes you work for an A. However if you do put some mind and effort into it you will get one. She has clear criteria for all the papers you do (4 at-home, 3 in class), and the CW and HW you get which are pretty much every meeting are easy. She does really care about you and your grade. I would recommend taking her.

I really enjoyed Professor Barlows class. We had 4 out of class essays, 3 in class, and long as you put the work into it youll pass. There is homework and classwork mostly every meeting but its really easy and short. She does grade kinda tough on the out of class essays but her criteria is very clear. You will learn a lot, highly recommend.

She is pretty chill there's only a couple essays and in class she goes over articles and things to help you write your essays . She grades a little tough but it's manageable , her final is an easy essay , don't miss class on a in class essay day or else you have to take it in a testing center . Overall she isn't bad .

She is very sarcastic, finishes your sentences for you. A lot of homework but it is very easy to work, her criteria for essays are ridiculous she has so many rules it gets annoying but overall she was okay, she can chill with the jokes though.

She's an amazing professor! The class is not difficult, 4 out of class essays and 3 in class essays. The final (which is an in class essay) is optional and replaces the lowest grade. CW and HW every meeting, however it takes no more than 30min. She grades tough, but her criteria is clear and really cares about you. I highly suggest taking her.

Prof. Barlow is great. Really cares about her students. As long as you do all the homework (which is very easy), turn in all essays, and attend class regularly, you will be very successful in her class

Put some effort and you'll pass! Out-of-class essays weigh the most, but you have a lot of time to perfect your essays. There are a few in-class essays which are graded more leniently. You have some opportunities to get more time on an essay, re-do it, etc. There's homework every class, but it's simple, straightforward, and usually takes 5-15 min.

She started off okay but i missed two classes and it seemed like the little class work counts more than the actual assignments i went from an A to a F within a week and i was getting good grades and it was still hard to pass. She talks like she wants you to finish her sentences which a little annoying she grades tough for no reason .

Professor Barlow is a great professor. Even though she can be a tough grader, she does allow you to revise an essay. She is very clear with what she wants in a paper and it's hard to go beyond her expectations. Getting an A is something you really have to work for.

Prof. Barlow is a very sweet lady. She isn't very 1-on-1 but that doesn't make her class impossible. She gives clear grading criteria and extra credit but is a very tough grader. Prepare for a homework assignment every night too (they're not hard though).

She is the sweetest! She is a tough grader but if you put in effort you should be fine.I never received less than a B on a paper. She is VERY clear on what she expects and has a detailed outline for what she expects for every paper. There is a homework assignment for every class but they are super easy. There were 4 OC essays and 3 IC essays.

Prof. Barlow is nice but when it comes to grading is hard. There is an assignment every class and she gives extra credit. Make sure you write your essays well and do the final essay well cause that grade matters the most.
