Hands down the dumbest woman I have met in my life. She does not know how to teach, only how to read words off a slide. She is not clear in her instructions for assignments; will say one thing in class and post completely different guidelines online. I followed her directions for a paper and got a failing grade because it wasn't good enough for her

She is a wonderful professor. She is always there for you if you have any questions. As long as you well prepared and work hard, you should be fine in her class. She loves students who work hard.

I went to her office to make sure my answers were correct and received no feedback but she made sure to tell me it was wrong on the exam. Her syllabus has minimal info. She takes off points wherever she can for presentations, participation (even if you never skip), and is nit-picky on exams. She seems to favor the annoying and nerdy kids in class.

Dr. Wood is the best prof for ecology. The lectures are really interesting and cool. She doesn't mind pausing lecture if you have any questions. Her class seems difficult at first, but just get all your answers checked by her. She is super friendly and knowledgeable.

This class was the most interesting class I have taken at Bloom. The class is very discussion based, and you are graded off of your participation. You get to decide as a class how much each assignment is worth. The topics are interesting and relevant. Dr. Wood is very passionate about this topic. She's a great prof and easy to talk to

Dr. Wood is an amazing professor. She is so kind and helpful. She gives all the exam questions beforehand. As long as you write the essay questions beforehand and get them check, you will be fine. The ecology lab are so much fun. I always looked forward to going outside.

This class was interesting.. when you actually read the material by yourself. Dr. Wood is very vague in explaining so be prepared for that. Her tests are very difficult, so different studying methods and constant studying is required to get a decent grade. Attend every class, clicker questions are based on accuracy. Do your best!

She is by far the worst teacher I have ever had. She makes you buy her lecture guide which is useless and doesn't post any notes online. Don't miss class because her only method of teaching is asking clicker questions and wont explain the answers even if the class has a 50-50 split. Do not take!!

Awful. Her tests are ridiculously hard and don't focus of the material that's learned in class. She is more focused on specific information than on students understanding everything as a whole. The lecture guide (her notes) is so disorganized and confusing to follow. Would recommend avoiding her at all costs.

Her tests were extremely hard and were on things we did not cover in class. Her lectures were pretty boring, and she did not provide much information.

I do not agree with her teaching methods. If there are some contradictions with her lecture and the notes she will leave you wondering, even when questions are asked. The tests are more about how many specific details you can remember rather than if you understand the big picture. No study guides or practice tests, even for the final.

She is incredibly nervous when teaching in front of students. In severe need of a new bra. I thought the class was pretty easy, but don't expect any study help from her. For the final she told us to just know everything. Use clicker questions A LOT which are graded for accuracy. Finished with an A. DONT get the textbook

Was a nice lady, had all the notes printed out and you just had to fill in the blanks during lecture. However, her test made no sense. the tests are based off the note packets, but the tests had info on them that wasn't in the note packets. me and y friends never got anything higher then a 75%. Wasn't always clear.

Very nice if you are willing to participate and learn the material. Gives a study guide with the exact questions that are going to be on the test. Hard grader, but she wants you to actually learn the material and be able to apply it. Notes do help with the tests. Use the concepts and apply them. I would take her again despite how hard she was.

She is a really nice prof and if you show genuine interest in her class she will be more than willing to help you. She expects a lot from students but it is only to help you in the class. She grades hard but she give you a study guide with the question that will be on the exam.

It seems that the intent of this professor is to make the experience unrewarding, difficult, and at times to beat down the will of the students. It is a shame because she is a very knowledgeable professor and could have a lot to share with students that are there to learn. Maybe she will change but at this point I would avoid her if possible.

She sucks. She can't teach and its very clear that shes nervous because her voice quivers. Her notes make absolutely no sense and she doesn't explain anything. I went to her office once to ask some ?s and she talked like she expected to already no all the material already. 2 points are taken off your grade whenever you miss a class.
