Comment:
Mark was one of the best professors ever. The class itself was hard, but if you go to lectures, take notes, and actually put in study time it will be much easier. The class was graded off of exams, 2 or 3 thought papers, and a group project. Attendance isn't mandatory but I highly suggest going majority of the time.

Comment:
When Dr. Prendergast taught, the lecture material was easy to understand. But he had two Ph.D students teach a lot and they really didn't know how to effectively teach. Tests were a little tricky, but easy if you study and know the material from the study guide.

Easiest class ever. Mark actually said he doesn't like to give out Cs and Ds. Attractive, nice, easy going. 25 minute presentation and 15 page paper seem intimidating but he is a very easy grader. Dont have to go for almost all of April. No final.

The most amazing professor I had in my 4 years at UK. Makes the material interesting and useful. He is brilliant and extremely knowledgeable but also very down to earth and cool. He will go out of his way for you even though he is a busy guy and is a great teacher even though he is a great researcher. He is pretty hot too :)

Mark is a badass. Take any class you can from him. If you come to class, take notes, you'll do fine, even though the material can be difficult at times. He provides extra credit opportunities, and is very down to earth/easy to talk to.

Yes, he's very hot, but I think he does very well not letting that get in the way of his teaching. Can you be hot AND informative? Take the class!
