Dr. Livingston is a mess. If there by some miracle another professor for 418 in the future take them instead! Her schedule is a confusing a nightmare, she never posted office hours, she never posted grades besides exam grades or told us how to calculate our grade on our own. Psych majors when you have to take her may the odds be in your favor.

She will hold you until the last minute. Long lects. Don't freak out. Search her test on Quizlet at he beginning of the quarter and make flashcards. You never see your test score. Mrs. Livingston is very sweet, helpful, & understanding. Her University Seminar class was not hard at all. She went out of her way to help everyone and would even stay after class to answer questions. She's very laid back & also pretty funny. Take her for university seminar if you can!

Dr. Livingston is definitely one of my favorite professors at Tech. She went out of her way to help me numerous times and she's very kind and funny. She really cares about helping the freshman and making sure their year is going perfectly. The lectures might seem pointless but they are very helpful. If you can take her for Seminar, do it!

She really cares about her freshmen and makes sure you get familiar with the university. She is willing to help with any and every problem you may have whether it be a class you're having trouble in, dorm situations, financial aid, ect. Awesome lady who made me feel very welcomed during my first quarter!

GREAT instructor! Don't think for one minute that you are going to slide through her class though. Read the texts and take notes on the videos and simply pay attention, this will get you a good grade. She is fair and willing to listen if you need to talk to her about anything. She is concerned which is more than I can say for others I've had.

Its not hard to make an A. The class is boring though. You watch many videos and she will hold you until the last minute. The first three tests don't effect your grade very much. If you read the book, you will do great on the tests. Don't have to take any notes. The final is 75% of grade, but is easy as long as you read the previous chapters.

Used PowerPoints in class and posted. Gives review sheets & expects you to read.It was well organized. No cumulative final and more points for papers. Not sure where the other comment came from. Have to study for the tests they are not tricky but VERY through. If you are lazy forget it but it you want to learn she's the one!

Completely disorganized, outrageously irrelevant and impossible tests, absolutely no lecture, doesn't cover ANYTHING that pertains to class/test. I'm sure she was at one point a good teacher, but it is time to retire. Not sure where all these other "Good Quality" ratings came from. Maybe she's different in undergrad. AVOID.

She really cares about freshmen, but she wont hesitate to curse! She is super helpful and understanding, and has been at LA Tech since the stone age so she knows everybody. She dresses oddly and has interesting hair, but overall she is pretty great!
