Comment:

Masami offers a lot of extra credit opportunities and has really easy assignments. Quizzes, tests, and homework is all super easy. There is one midterm paper and thats the only major assignment. Lectures can be boring and she can be hard to understand, but dont miss more than 1 class or shell drop your grade by a whole letter! Overall very easy.

Comment:

There are assignments every week on Sundays. 5 Art Projects with Lesson Plans, several busy work assignments and a Final Artistic Development Case Study and ppt. Do every assignment and discussion EXACTLY how she states. She will give extra credit but also takes off points for minor things. Always cite where you got info! Required to buy her book.

Very easy class! 3 tests including the final, but she drops your lowest test score. She gives online quizzes once a week, but she does the quiz in class so you have all the answers. One 5 page research paper that was easily graded.

The absolute WORST teacher I have ever had!! Rude, extremely disorganized, does not listen to students and marks down grades for specific things she never mentions.. I learned very little in this class and she is constantly talking about useless personal information... Very disappointed this is who is in charge of the Art Education program!

If you can, avoid her class at all costs, she should not be teaching any upper division courses. She is disrespectful to her students, will cut you off when you ask questions, she literally shushes complaints, she snaps at her students for attention like animals, reviews the same irrelevant material over and over again and is extremely disorganized

This class is super easy but prepare to be bored. She is hard to understand and you only go to class to tune her out and wait until the end for her to give you the quiz answers. There are 3 tests but you only need to take 2 and she gives you half the answers in class. There is an art "midterm" but it is easy and she just wants you to try.

Comment:

Very fun and easy class and I actually learned a lot about art and how to teach children. Really fun she just wants to see that you understood the concepts and tried your best. She is a little hard to understand but lays out her grading criteria clearly. It said there was a midterm and final but both were canceled. Such a fun class!!!

Super easy class! You go to class once a week and the rest is online but the only online work you have are the quizzes she assigns to you each week. She goes over the answers to each of the quizzes in class so make sure you are there! The exams are online as well and there is one project for the semester which is super easy. Take this class!!

If you can avoid her online class I would. I took it in the summer & she was in Japan, making communication hard. Didn't grade work until final week of class. Never clear on expectations. Fairly easy grader, but she would take off major points for small things or things that were not explained earlier. Seems like a nice person, just not organized.

Take this class if you can! She has a thick accent but after a day or two you get used to it. Lectures can be lengthy sometimes but if you show interest in the class she will work on the weekly quizes with you. She is very funny and will explain everything if you ask for clarification. Easy A.

she is very confusing, very irritable, changes her mind all the time, very unorganized, not helpful at all, marks you down for the tiniest things, she said no one has gotten lower than an A but last semester she gave me a B+, and I did everything she asked, still she showed me no mercy. she always repeats herself and what she says is all useless

Wonderful lady, but the class is so disorganized!You never really know when anything is due because she changes the schedule almost every class. Its a good class to take, just brace yourself for a lot of confusion!

To get A you should take this class. It is so easy. I don't care about the materials, but I do what she ask to do which is NOTHING. she answers the quizzes for you and you've two attempts. you just work hard in the end you gonna post many pics with explanations.

Toku definitely has an easy class, but I had to fight for my grade. She marks you down for the stupidest little things which ends up hurting your grade a lot. She has a really heavy accent so listening to her is impossible. She gives random assignments that have nothing to do with the material, but will take a legit 4 hours. Horrible class.

This class is definitely an easy GE class, and would recommend taking it. However after a few classes it becomes extremely monotonous and becomes easier and easier to skip. Dont skip though, go to class get the quiz answers and do every quiz! if you do that youll get an A. She is also very helpful in her office hours.

Absolutely loved her she was funny and kept the class interesting. Art 100 is incredibly easy and I passed with an A all you have to do is show up.

She had a very thick accent, so sometimes it was almost impossible to understand what she was saying. However, you really don't need to listen because everything she says is exactly whats in the book. The tests are very easy.

If you are taking intro level classes that is probably ok, but if you take any upper division with her, avoid her like the plague!!! this is serious, a group of us are planning on complaining to the Dean, for multiple reasons.
