Comment:

Even though I had her online, it was very clear how considerate and caring she was even over email. She is very understanding if you happen to make a little mistake and is willing to work with you. Her online lectures are very clear and easy to understand. If you have the chance to take her, I highly recommend it!

Comment:

This class was incredibly challenging but Ms. Kiessling helped in every way possible. She answered my questions on due dates very quickly with in depth explanations. Lots of homework, and attendance is a necessity, but it's worth it for a professor who will help you understand as difficult a subject as calculus.

She was as helpful as a professor could be I would highly recommend taking her if you are able to. she answers any question anyone had and at her office hours she was very helpful.

She is such a great professor. I have took her twice for precal 2 and calc 1 and I can say I have enjoyed her both times. She is willing to help you at all times and is extremely understanding. Calculus was more difficult but if you show up and pay attention it's very easy to get a good grade in the class!

She truly wants students to understand the material, not just pass. As an engineer she's really good at apply the math and explaining it well. She's forgiving on tests if she sees a lot of people struggled. This was the first time I earned such a high grade in a math class and ACTUALLY learned and remembered the material. She's awesome

I love this professor! 5 exams, one dropped. Extremely accessible outside of class, office hours 4 days a week. Explains everything clearly and will answer any question. Does assign a lot of homework but its to prepare you for quizzes and exams, and will answer any questions on these before they're due - very beneficial! TAKE HER IF POSSIBLE.

She is one of my favorite math teachers ever. She is one of those teachers who write out everything when solving problems. There is homework after every lecture and it's typically online, but there have been some textbook assignments. She posts her notes after each lecture and she posts a practice test for each test. She is super nice and awesome!!

she is a good professor but the subject is hard and she has a lot to cover so it feels very fast especially if there is something you don't understand. Most homework is online and if you do it in advanced and ask her questions about what you didn't understand it will be much easier. You have to work hard to do well but definitely not impossible.

She was such a great teacher to have for Statistics. You could tell she really wanted you to understand and would stop and help students if they were unsure. There is a lot of homework, but it helped me understand the topics even more. I would definitely recommend her if you are taking Stats.

I had Professor Kiessling for PreCal. She's a great teacher/person and wants her students to succeed. It's math so if you don't pay attention you will fail. The book was only used for homework. She's happy to answer any questions is very available. Would definetly recommend.

I think shes a great teacher, but her class was the only class ever nearly failed. Had to clock into overtime constantly watching videos online to figure out the homework. I eventually got it figured out, but it was rough. Everyone else seems to like her though, so maybe it's just me.

Meg is seriously the best teacher I have ever had. She will take the time at the beginning of every class to go over any homework questions (or questions in general) that you may have. She is welcoming and genuinely happy to help anyone who comes in during her office hours if you're struggling. If at all possible, do yourself a favor and take her!!

Meg is a great teacher! Most of the homework is online on MyMathLab, and some is on worksheets. Homework is 30% of the grade which really helps your grade up if you just DO IT. The tests are not hard and she gives you forumla sheets for them as well as practice tests a few days before the test. Even if you're not good at math, you'll do good!

This teacher is AMAZING. My best professor at UTC so far. I absolutely recommend her. She is very clear, and really know what she is talking about. I recommend you do all the homework on time, but just in case you get busy she will open back up all the my math labs at the end of the year.

Kiessling is a great teacher. She knows her stuff and will do her best to make sure you know yours. Tests are intimidating. If you keep up with your studying you will do fine. We had to go to the math lab once a week for our attendance grade. I just walked in, signed in & out, and left. Never stayed more than 5 minutes in that math lab. Got an A+
