This class doesn't feel like a 2 credit hour class because I've spent more time than a 2 credit hour class should. Do all the FE practice problems because that's where he pick the test questions. Take another professor if it's available, if not it's not the end of the world.

Fairly smug, but I learned a great deal. VERY difficult over a summer term. With an extreme deal of hard work, I managed an A- (without the prereq). Exam questions are from the book: shared at the beginning of semester. Those that got an A in class likely cheated on the exam. You'll see! Please, have integrity. Take both exams and you'll pass.

The quizzes contain the super long homework questions and the tests contain the FE homework questions. Do all the homework (that you can, some of it is impossible) and bring it ALL for your exams. You will definitely pass if you do this. Don't underestimate the work. Just listen to everything he says the first day and don't miss any tests.

Most common phrase you'll hear in class "Is this making sense?" Not really but Chegg will have the answers to the homework that make up his test questions. Don't expect him to help you with anything. He's quite demeaning and not very considerate in any regard. Only take him if your class is mandatory and he's the only one teaching it.

Reads off of slides and doesn't explain material well. Not pleasant to work with one-on-one either: he asked why I hadn't dropped the class (the second of three testing cycles started the day after withdraw deadline) because "it's obvious you're not doing well." Do not take, if you need this class (civils) wait to take another professor.

Horrible. I had to withdraw his class because I wasn't learning anything. I'm taking the same class now with Calabrese and it's so much easier. The website for homework doesn't give you help or explains why you get a question wrong, and he teaches you how to use excel but doesn't teach you how to actually solve the problems

Entertaining lecture, but textbook and documents partly outdated. Projects/assignments make sense. You will have to work a lot for it, but clear and fair grading. Exams are mostly multiple choice and hard to learn for, but very fair grading and curving. Great personality, accessible outside of class, behaves responsibly, and cares about students.

Good professor and nice guy. Expectations were very clear. Lectures were a bit tangential, though. All assignments are performed online, which makes the course easier, but for me more difficult to learn, because it's too convenient to just search for answers. I feel like I didn't learn much and came away with a B.

His class was awful, I easily get A in other courses, but I killed myself to get B in his course. He doesn't clear his expectations at the first. Actually, you would be surprised by a tough exam just at the third session of his class! I had to pay over 100$ for Mc Grawhill course connect material. This is mandatory for everyone!

This course requires some time, and hard work will be rewarded. Two simulation software-related projects have to be accomplished, online tests and a final paper have to be submitted. The latter gets you in the topic and you actually learn something by creating it. I enjoyed the classes.

Exams are not based on content or comprehension but on finding the correct phrase from his slides. 1 word may make an entire statement wrong. The calculations get tough but are easy if you set up a spreadsheet. He is very proud of his slides and exams. He gives re-take exams and depending on how the overall class is doing, E.C. or a curve.

Took Interactive Simulation and got a B. I did not agree with all of his policies, but every single requirement is listed in his syllabus including the way he grades. This class required a lot of work and involved a lot of frustration. Dr. Proctor understands & recognize the hard work from his students. Be prepared to work and learn something!

First off, there is no text book for this class. Instead, he makes the student purchase around 35 Harvard Case Studies at the student's expense. Then, he expects the student to read and memorize every minute detail of every case study. Then, on the tests, he'll ask the most detailed questions, sometimes changing one small detail. Do not take.

VERY bad teacher. the worst teacher I have ever met. bad in teaching, grading, testing and eveything. he makes the nice course a very very bad course. I took this class then i couldn't stand him so i withdraw from it. the problem is he is now the only teacher for this class, if this class is not a required DONT TAKE IT.

He is a terrible teacher. If you are a FEEDS Student, you are in a lot of trouble because he do not care about his online students. He can't teach, his test are extremely hard. I wish I never taken this class.

Honestly, even though I think I'll do fine in this class, I wish I hadn't taken it. For an engineer, simple economics math is easy... but Dr. Proctor makes it seem harder. His grading is EXTREMELY harsh and the final term paper is a nightmare. The guy is rude, unhelpful and sarcastic in email responses... I honestly advise you try for another prof.

Not a horrible professor, but not great either. Really tight grader which is bad when you're paying a thousand bucks for the class and need to make an A or a B. Basically if you're an A student you'll get a B, while A+ students might get an A. He rambles and the textbook is stingy with examples. I'd say find a different professor if possible.

Okay prof...pain in the butt with his writing assignments. The trick is to write about stuff he knows nothing about and you will do fine. Otherwise, you will not get a good grade. Also, he teaches old technology and is not in touch with new stuff...not very appealing for those of us that have been in industry for some time. Overall, class was ok

Favors students that participated in class instead of FEEDS students. Zero lieniency in grading. Grading is very subjective. He doesn't like giving out A's.

Weird guy, but you get use to that. Pretty passionate about the subject; which is nice when it is a 3 hour class late in the evening. His writing assignments are somewhat challenging...you do actually have to think, but nothing impossible. He is very strict about his writing guidelines...be sure to follow them or he'll get ya! Overall, not bad.
