Straight forward class - go to class, at least skim the textbook (do the online quizzes he suggests, he takes questions from them!), and two papers with very specific guidelines. Very helpful, tests can be tricky, but you can drop one of them (or opt out of the final). Good guy, good teacher, good class. I learned a lot.

The class is pretty straight forward. There are two papers, one 3-5 pages and the CDL paper which is 6-9. If you go to the lab and include all the terms he wants there is no way you won't get the minimum number of pages. He is a fair grader go in during office hours and have him look it over it's a big help. 4 exams he only counts the 3 best.

Mike Graf is a fantastic teacher. He is always asking for people's personal experiences and allows the class to listen and gain more knowledge not just from him, but everyone else. His tests are super easy if you actually look at the online quizzes and study guides. The term papers are specific but if you ask him questions hes willing to answer the

2 huge papers to write which are hard and he is so specific in what he wants yet doesn't really know how he wants the papers. The few exams are easy. Be sure to attend class cuz lots of information is given out and he doesn't like make-ups! Just do great on all the tests and the papers you can do okay on and still recieve a B.

Mr. Graf is an amazing professor. He is truly interested in the material he presents and his enthusiasm shows. Exams arent bad as long as you study lecture notes and info from the book. He is straight forward about what is on them and offers very helpful study guides. Overall, A+ prof. Take him if you need this class, you wont regret it!

Not an easy GE class. Requires much reading. Tests are about 50% text 50% lecture. Term paper is a lot of work, but enjoyable if you are interested at all in children. Must be a good writer to recieve good grades on writing assignments. Attendence definitely affects your grade, so miss as little as possible; the professor takes roll.

One of the best instructors I've had. Genuinely enjoys his job and is eager to answer any questions. If he doesn't have the answer, he'll look it up and have it for you at the beginning of the next class. Tests are easy if you pay attention in class. Papers are a bit more complicated, but if you're used to APA format you should do great!

First off dont let his nice personality get to you, by no means is he nice! His tests are ridiculously easy, but you should avoid this class unless you can get an A++ in English. There are 2 papers that determine your grade, and he grades harder than most English profs. Also he'll take off points for missing one class! AVOID!!!

Prof. is well prepared for class . Lectures are presented in PowerPoint. This class required 2 research papers each consisting of 3-4 pages. If you follow his format, you will do fine. His tests (4) consists of lectures and reading questions. If class doesn't do well on reading questions, he drops the question(s) and grades on a curve.

Slide shows every day. Didn't read after the first test and still got an A. Uses APA style for papers, and is a stickler about formatting, but other than that, an easy class. P.S. Do the 2 papers first, bc the last quizzes are way easier.

mildly easy class...if you show up you don't really have to read. Mike Graff is a good teacher and the tests are easy enough. He seems to care about his students and he grades very fairly. over all this class was easy...you do have to go though.

Mr. Graf is an excellent professor! Very clear lectures! Exams are based off a mix of lecture and reading. This class is very interesting! The only time consuming thing was writing the 9 page essay about the child observations. After observing the children you have so much to write about so it's not difficult just takes time. Got an A.

He's a good guy. Very helpful, knows the material and will write down your questions if he doesn't know the answer and find one for you. Just take good notes. He mainly uses powerpoint, which makes it easy to take notes from.
