Good Professor. Attendance is not important as along as you do your assignments on time.He sets deadlines but then give you extra time anyway. Go to class show your assignments and then you can leave. The longest i was in his class was 30 mins. Test are kinda hard

Can't hardly understand him, but you don't need to! (as long as know the common sense stuff of Word, Pwr Pt, Excel) He is sooo easy. You just do exactly what the book tells you and you get an easy A. I passed with an A & I hardly even tried.

Fall 2006 - Dr. Chang did an excellent job in this class. 10 assignments, three exams and three lab exams. Do the review and the assignments and you'll be fine. Chang does a great job of explaining the material and he has a good sense of humor. Highly recommended.

This is a great class - more in depth than a survey class, but was easy enough for me and I have only novice programming skills. Dr. Chang is very helpful. We had 9 assignments and 2 exams. Great review - his curriculum and notes are online. No book needed. I highly recommend this class for anyone needing a programming class.

teaching an intro prgming class could be hard to me there's a tight learning curve.Chang goes slow and is patient....wants you to get it.....take him..some say they did not learn anything but they did not apply themself....easy by far...if CIS major-- getting the basics in programming is important will need for advanced programming classes.

This guy is so down to earth and ready to help you even if you are a dummy. He likes to attend to students one on one in class if you are having problem with your assignment. He makes sure you understand the problem and gives you direction unlike other UHD professors. This guy is really here to help students and not to fail them.

Top notch professor. Highly recommended. Funny guy. Very easy going. Book helps a little but his website helps a lot. Material will come from website. Understand his lecture notes from website and you will do well in class. Sometimes a little difficult to understand him. Overall, he is a cool professor. He loves programming and it shows.

Excellent teacher. His site thoroughly explains the assignments/lectures that are submitted during the semester. Teaches with a fun attitude, that makes the class very enjoyable. You will not be needing the Introduction to Programming with C++ book. Save the $150.00 on the book and just study his Power Point slide presentation lectures.
