Knowledgeable but testing methods are a bit ridiculous. You'll have quizzes in every lab that are so short that it will bring you down a letter grade if you miss one question. He Lectures for weeks before you get a lecture test and you have to memorize 15 pages of notes for one test instead of testing along the way. Don't take if you need an A.

I loved Moore, he has a sarcastic humor about him. Tough class, bring a laptop for notes, hard to keep up writing by hand. No other grade besides 3-4 test the whole year, 33 questions. Only extra credit is donating blood. Test are not hard if you study, BUT YOU HAVE TO STUDY. Stifler about attendance. Do not need book. Show respect, get respect.

If you're taking Bio I or II do not purchase the textbook! He provides notes on the board for you to write down and study for the test. Make sure you write them down, they will be what the test is based off of. Buy the lab book, though. Very cool teacher and easy class if you actually study.

Intelligent teacher, but very uncaring for his students success. Lack of homework forces your whole grade to rely on 3-4 difficult tests, all 33 questions long. Minimal extra credit (~10pts total), snarky personality, and it can be quite a chore to understand his flow of teaching the material. TAKE NOTES and STUDY, test ?'s are meant to confuse you

Very Strange and Weird teacher. Write down all notes and study. He knows his stuff but doesn't seem to care for his students, he never makes eye contact with students who are not his skin color when lecturing . I heard this and experienced it.

The actually class is SO BORING! You dont need your text book. Take your laptop to class and copy ALL of the notes. Read them over at least once a week and make flash cards based on the notes and you'll be ok. The lab was super easy and kind of fun sometimes. You will NEVER get out early from this class.

His classes are tough. But, if you study the notes from lecture and do the work in lab, you will have no problems. Also, The book for lecture is a waste of money. He only uses class notes for his lecture tests. I enjoyed his classes, except for the evolution portion. He really believes in evolution. Therefore, it is taught in detail!

Very strange teacher write down all his notes the lab is easier than his class he does not give drop grades and make sure you bring alot of paper everday to his class. Overall I think he likes science but choose to teach just becase he knew he could get the degree I also think he is undercover Red Neck he never can make eye contact with you beware.

don't purchase book, you never open it. he tests on his notes. by time tests come u have piles of pages of notes to know. try and do well on all his tests since he does not drop ur lowest grade nor gives extra credit. good luck!!
