Neena is a very good teacher. The projects she using to calculate the grade is very few. And you don't need to worry about the tests because she has some sample exams which help you perform well in the exams. Don't hesitate, just enroll her class! Lucky all of your math 140!

Solid class overall despite the department making the exams overly difficult this semester. It isn't her fault, great teacher.

I made an account to specifically warn people about her. She is a terrible teacher. I took Honors Calc in high school and got 100 and because of Neena have a B. She cannot explain anything for her life, she reads off the slides which are straight from the book, and the homework is so random that she has told me she doesn't know why she assigned it.

I was really hesitant going into MATH141 given I barely got a C in MATH140. However, Chopra was an amazing professor in terms of notes and preparing us for exams; the notes are clear and concise and actually match the tests. At first she may seem slow and possibly behind the syllabus, but her style and pace for teaching works out in the end.

Good professor with easy notes to follow and she gives you great tricks to solve problems. She helps you understand what the midterms will look like through her quizzes. Best Math prof I've had in PennState. Math 141 is not an easy class by any means and requires and a lot of individual work. But Chopra will make it easier for you.

Class wise, the only grading is homework and quizzes which are weekly. She gives out notes for each lecture which are very helpful. She tells you exactly whats on the tests, she is very helpful.

Definitely one of the good professors to take Math141 with. She's very sweet, doesn't go fast, and isn't rude. Her explanations are clear. This class is still Math141, so it's not a piece of cake, but Prof. Chopra's the best one to take with. Only 1 thing: she's pretty quiet sometimes, try to sit in the front 2 rows.

Fantastic Professor. Math 141 was even easier than 140 with her teaching. Don't listen when kids say this is the "hardest math class" because it is not. With Prof Chopra and a little extra time outside class and homework you will succeed. I lost only 5 points throughout the entirety of the class, thanks to her.

Excellent teacher. I would strongly recommend her for both math 140 and 141. One thing that you will notice is that her ratings are poor for basic math classes but great for higher math. This is because she is passionate about calculus and it really shows. She wants you to succeed and might even help you during tests, (something I wish I used.)

looking here before meeting her scared me, but she is excellent. Has said before how she always wanted to teach (can see the passion in her). Very open to office hours and extremly helpfull. Her accent is completly understandable but lacks in keeping the class interesting (Her voice is very monotone). Bad grade is my own fault. Gives extensions.

Neena honestly cares about how you do. She does everything in her power to improve your grade through lots of quizes and and homeworks. Unfortunately, the way the department is set up, the tests make up pretty much your whole grade. Overall, she gives great examples in class and is always available outside of class

She is hilarious and makes me smile, but as for teaching goes, she goes by the book, and the book makes everything much more complicated. It is sometimes hard to follow the lectures and math problems she presents.

Neena is a really nice lady. Take the time to talk to her and go to her office hours and she will help you tremendously. Class was based off of homework that was graded on completion and exams. I was skeptical about taking her class because of the reviews on here but I'm glad I ended up taking it with her.

Best Calculus teacher!! I took Both Math 140 and 141 with Neena. She knows what she is teaching, very experienced. Gives lots of problems to work on which really helps prepare for exam. Office hours were really helpful. Very nice person too.

She is a great professor if you have her for calculus. She goes over dozens of examples to make sure you know the problems. She wont give you problems that would never be on an exam. She has plenty of office hour time to get extra help. She is very quiet but she is very nice and willing to help you succeed.

Neena Chopra is probably the worst teacher I have met in my entire life. She has the teaching abilities of a box turtle. Lion tutors made all the difference for my grade. She is incompetent of skills like using internet explorer and the english language. Nice lady, but extremely unqualified to teach calculus and should be fired .

Nice lady but bad teacher. Not engaging at all, all she does is read over her powerpoint slides straight from the book and she can be hard to understand. I got nothing out of the class and only went for clicker points. If you didn't take calculus in high school and are taking 110 for Smeal you better go to a lot of tutoring.
