I am a science major and this class was the easiest class in the semester that I took his class. Very easy material quizzes every week, and he gives bonus points! easy class for people that go to class and are in college to learn and go to their classes. Very enjoyable class!

three hour night classes on a Monday are never fun. I absolutely hated him at first, but now he's probably my most respected professor. He will make you work hard for the grade you want but offers extra credit on every homework, and a huge extra credit assignment at the end. I learned a ton, but expect to put in between 6-10 hours weekly for an A.

Great Professor that preps you for "The College Life". He spoon fed almost all the info for me and made all my other classes and tests a lot easier to comprehend. Because of this I have a B+ average in all my classes and thankful for taking Gens 105. IF YOU ARE A COLLEGE FRESHMAN, YOU NEED TO TAKE THIS CLASS WITH THIS PROFESSOR.

Hardest tests I have ever had as a college student. Do not even bother trying to take notes they will not make sense or be relevant. Has a quiz and a homework assignment due every class period. HW will easily take you an hour or two. Sweet and VERY smart man, just not a good teacher.If you do every Hw and be there for the quizzes-you have a chance!

I learned more about the world in one semester in his class, than I did in my entire career as a student. He covers most continental regions of the world, and gives you an overall understanding of the race, region, gov't, history & religious background. His stories are interesting and he lets you turn things in late. Very nice guy!

What a great guy. He is full of stories (good ones). He is very helpful. Difficult to understand sometimes but I showed up to class everyday and put forth the effort. Well done. I got a D on the first exam and ended up pulling a B in the class. What a great guy.

Dr. J is a really neat guy and will teach you tons of information that will come in handy in lots of other classes...if you take the time to learn it. It really is more than just geography. Loved the class! Don't expect an easy A you weenies!
