She never even touches the website -- since everything is automatic through the Connect website. Do not bother e-mailing her, I e-mailed and even mailed her through the website -- she never replies ever. She assigns tons of chapters a week and offers no powerpoint or study guides for the exams. Throughout the course, she made like 2 announcements

I read the negative comments,but took her anyway since I am not a needy online student and thought maybe some posters were exaggerating. They weren't. I ended up talking to the dean (she is her dept head)about how unprofessional & horrible her class was going-his hands are tenured tied.I got an A but I know a lot of people struggled.U R WARNED

I am a third year GWC/OCC student with a 4.0 GPA. I took SOC G185 and she scored my research paper 200 points out of 400 points. She is unreasonable and responds poorly to any questions or emails. DO NOT TAKE HER!

This professor was the worst. She made a mistake on the final and 1/2 class got 1 hour to take the exam & other got 2 hours to take same exam. Once she saw mistake, she didnt allow the 1st half to re-take the final exam resulting in what must be the most egregious example of unfairness ever to occur for an online class EVER!!

She's nice(to me)and I would totally get stoned with her, but..... she falls behind in her lectures sometimes. Exams are somewhat hard but if your interested in this subject you'll do fine.

16 GDAs, 1 each week, fairly manageable. 3 Midterms + 1 Final. STUDY STUDY STUDY for this class on test dates. Do not slack off. Online class was okay, however, you need to read every inch of the book. Sometimes, her midterms defer from the topic of Sociology. However, she does give out extra credit.

Took this class online and we had weekly assignments that didn't start getting graded until about the 7th week so we didn't know what we were doing right/wrong. Didn't get any sort of feedback on assignments. She doesn't respond to emails. Would not recommend her at all.

Students are required to interview a first-generation immigrant and write a 7 page, single-spaced report which is worth 40% of your grade. Students must also attend the Museum of Tolerance and write a 4 page, single-spaced report which is worth 20% of your grade. Weekly online group discussions each week are worth 40%. Overall her online class is not that bad. Her weekly assignments are very time consuming however and she is pretty strict on grading them so make sure you give thorough answers. She is very forgiving since she too makes a lot of mistakes. The tests are not that bad just read the book! Overall it would be an easy B but you have to work for an A!

I got B's for ALL the quizes did all my homework I forgot to take the final but I did the math I should've gotten itleast a C but got a D. Been senting profesor e-mails and til this day haven't received a response! Wouln't reccomend her.
