I learned so much and truly enjoyed sitting in class. But he demands a lot and is very difficult. I worked hard and was able to get an A- so it is definitely doable. He is a wonderful teacher and I would suggest him but be prepared

Study and follow directions to his exact specifications and you will get an A. You can NOT BS this class, don't even try. Fromson is an AMAZING teacher and you will learn a lot of you care about the subject... if you don't care don't waste your time. Tests are hard too.

He is a great professor; funny, interesting, clear, yet firm. I remember being so afraid of his class reading his syllabus, but when I met him I realized he's nothing to fear. Do your work (adhering to all of his specificities) and pay attention, and you'll love him.

I loved Fromson!! One of my favorite teachers ever! I actually looked forward to going to his class. He is so animated that it really keeps your attention. The work load is pretty intense, but as long as you are trying he recognizes it. The tests are really hard though, so you have to know your stuff, but it is so worth it!

Abnormal Behavior. He expects "a lot", eg. for college students to actually write on a college level, be on time,& do their readings. Class is difficult, but you'll get a lot out of it, and he's a fun professor to have. If you do your work, participate in class, and FOLLOW DIRECTIONS you have nothing to fear.

WORST PROFESSOR AT ELON!!!! I hated him and he hated me. He would write the worst comments on people's papers such as you are self-destructing or you are writing at a third grade level. He takes off a point for every minute a paper is late. As someone else said I have made sure for the rest of the time here I do not have to take him so do the same

Knows his stuff, but he's a total jerk. His comments on your work are condescending and sarcastic at best. I thought this might have just been him hating my group, but I talked to people in others and it was the same way. I based my next semester's classes around ones he is NOT teaching. Worst professor I've had at Elon. Avoid if possible.

Personality/ Individual psych: He's a really excitable teacher who is worth coming to class for. He's really good in class, but his assignments need explaining sometimes. It's a lot of work and you cannot just half-ass the assignments in order to get an A or B.

Fromson is a really good professor. He makes the class entertaining to say the least. It is definetly one class that is easy to stay awake through. He makes his expectations crystal clear on papers. The final is a beyotch though, but it is open note.

VERY HYPER but it's really funny. He IS corky from the movie corky romano. He's very interested in what he does and will wake the class up. Can get to be a little much sometimes but he's a good guy. He's a hard grader though which will suprise you when the class is fairly easy but you dont' do as well on the papers. He's definitely entertaining

i really like professor fromson. he's a great guy, and wants us to be engaged. hes really hyper, and enjoys what he does, and says funny comments throughout class. hes a tough grader, though, but wants us to do well.

I had him twice. His classes are very interesting, but expect to work hard. He really makes you learn the material. If you don't know it well, you won't do well on the tests, even if they are open notebook. I would recommend him.
