Comment:
I think Professor Trembath is intelligent but the way he lectures and structures the class is terrible. He rarely showed up to teach class and missed class multiple times because he slept through our 11am class. He changed the syllabus multiple times and never used Canvas or email. The class was boring and hard to follow but it was an easy A.

Trembagh was one of the most amazing professors I have had at CSU. He is super understanding and he really cares about his students. He cares more about you understanding the material then actual grades so he grades pretty easily. I got an A and barely did any of the readings.

Trembath was one of the best professors I have had! He is an understanding and genuine professor who really cares about his students and how they and comprehending the material. He is also funny and made the in depth lectures more entertaining. Got an A and I really struggled with understanding all the concepts we learned.

It's always a good class when the professor is passionate about what they're teaching and that's why I recommend Paul. Very awesome if you're studying philosophy.

He doesn't use canvas, and doesn't follow the syllabus he gives you. It's hard to follow what he is saying, since he barely rights anything down and just speaks his mind. The class was extremely boring but wasn't hard. He assigns at least 10 books to read and I didn't read any but I'm pretty sure I still have an A.

Although he is very sporadic with his lectures, you learn a lot. He is very well versed in the material, but you need to go to class. He doesn't use Canvas or any technology really so just come to class and bare his usual tangents.

Paul is a great teacher as he is passionate about the topic and he really knows his stuff. He doesn't give homework, you have three quizzes and two papers. He believes that grades are a social construct and everyone usually passes with an A or B. I got a B and didn't go any of the reading unless it was relevant to my paper.

Comment:
Paul is very passionate about literacy theory and criticism; he encourages students to come in and talk to him about the content covered in class. He does not use any form of technology to record grades, so you must keep track of your own grade. He is an easy grader, as he is more concerned with whether you show understanding of the information.

Take a class from Trembath. He is awesome. He is a very lenient grader. Do your homework and you'll get an A in the class. Only two papers and three choices, but he drops a lot of stuff. He wants you to pass. He understands this class is hard and hard to understand so he is comfortable helping and clarifying. He's there for you!

This is how the class goes... you can miss 6 days, but he most likely is not keeping track. You take 3 quizzes (fill in the blank) and he drops one of them. Two papers that he grades VERY generously (everyone got a B or higher) and then a final exam. Each worth 13. Go to class, write only what is on the board and you WILL pass. I did not read.

Really great teacher that knows exactly what he's talking about. It takes time to get used to his style, but after a couple of weeks things are good. Not too tough of a grader and really wants students to open their minds. On occasion he picked on social, political, and religious groups, but its college. Spends appropriate amount of time on content

I found Professor Trembath to be a very nice man, and very interested in what he is teaching. I had a hard time following his thoughts sometimes though, and found his lectures to often times be unclear. I also was not expecting an Intro to Humanities class to be focused solely on literature, and did not enjoy the class.

He took philosophy and literature to the next level. All of the lectures were interesting and I always got a lot out of them. This was most first philosophy related class and I wasn't sure what to expect. He organized the class in such a way that all of the topics fit nicely with each other. It was an enjoyable class and I would highly recommend it

He's super intelligent, and (surprisingly) very welcoming to take extra time in class to go over any material. Class is a must, without his lecture it's really difficult to understand the concepts - I valued my in-class notes more than the book.

A mind-blowing experience, a life changer. Can and does explain very difficult concepts with great skill and patience, until you get it. Easily the best teacher on campus. If you don't watch it, he'll be a great friend, too!
