Probably one of the best teachers I have ever had. He's hilarious and tells the funniest stories. Cussing is like his hobby, so if you don't like cussing, don't take him. He will do anything he can to help. A++ teacher.

Best saxophone teacher I could ask for. He's the only reason I came to TN Tech. Great caring guy, hilarious, well educated, fantastic musician. I know he doesn't care about this rate your professor stuff, but anyone that looks at this should know he is great.

Wonderful teacher! If you can't stand cussing, this may not be the class for you. He's really engaging, tells hilarious stories, and teaches at a pace that's comfortable for you. Doesn't demean you if you ask questions. Don't be a 'know it all' he'll put you in your place. You rarely use the textbook, try borrowing from a friend. Workbook's needed.

He is a very helpful teacher, I had him for Harmony in the Fall and now plan on taking Harmony II with him in the spring although I am just a Music minor. He will never leave a student behind and will take any necessary steps to makes sure that we understand the topics.

The greatest professor at Tennessee Tech and one of the greatest music educators in the world!!! Mr. Barham is incredible. He pushes you to work and will turn you into a much, much better musician. He gurantees that as long as you do the work, he'll get you a grad assitantship. Besides that, he's a great guy. "Us Time" is a mind-alterin experience.
