Awful accent. Don't do homework, does not collect it or go over it. Take notes; write down everything, but watch out for mistakes. Gives review sheets before exams, do them, he pulls directly from them for the exams. Non cumulative tests. Keep test papers will dock points if you don't have it for the retest. Passable class.

I should have believed the hundreds of negative posts here after I registered for his class. He talks to the chalk board, doesn't answer questions, teaches out of the textbook that he wrote himself and has no personality what so ever. Please, if you're reading this, save yourself from taking this teacher!!

He is very knowledgeable in his subject area. Unfortunately he is totally, completely incapable of presenting that information in a productive, engaging manner. He uses his own written book that is a horrible excuse for a textbook. Be prepared to teach yourself, because he sure as pi won't be teaching you anything that is moderately useful. sigh~

A lot of people said he wasn't a good teacher sometimes you may feel that way but he doesn't give anything away easily. To get a good grade in his class you earn it. You go to ACE and you can even ask him questions. The key to passing his class is to read the book and notes thoroughly. He's a good teacher and a nice man. I enjoyed his class.

He is not a good teacher at all! I love math and have done very well in all of my classes.he is VERY hard to understand.The material he teaches has nothing to do with what you need for Calculus.He wrote his own textbook that does not explain anything.I went to ACE for every test and even they couldn't help me.I'm begging you, DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS.

do NOT take professor rao!! My advisor told me to take this class because its easy but it is NOT! I was always years ahead of my students in math in high school, then took his finite math class my first semester of college and did horrible. The only grades are his tests every few weeks that are very hard. He is very difficult to understand.

To be completely honest, this man is not a good teacher at all. He has his own privately made book, that does not explain anything. The book is like a summary of a summary of a pre-calc book. He is very hard to understand, and he will take points off of your test if you ask him questions. I do not think this man should be teaching anywhere!!!!

He's rude to students, does not speak clear English, makes FREQUENT mistakes, does not allow questions during class, and is completely unwilling to offer any sort of real help. I was told "This is common sense. It's easy" when I went for help. Everything I learned I taught myself using the textbook and a study group of equally desperate classmates.

How can UNF employ such a useless professor - he is rude to the students, doesn't provide any help - uses his own book which is filled with errors - isn't this a conflict of interest that we are forced to buy his book? Awful!I was so eager to take this class,but this guy refuses to help, doesn't communicate with students, difficult to understand his immitation of English. The worst professor I have ever had - I dropped! It was a waste of time and money. Don't take him!!

This is the worst teacher i have ever taken. He was very rude and often makes mistakes on his tests and while lecturing. I corrected him on a question he marked wrong on a test of mine and he yelled at me in front of the whole class. I would advise to steer clear of him.

Don't do it to yourself. His methods are obscure and he is just overall a horrible teacher. I've always done well in math classes and I've done and understood most of what should have been covered in his class but I still came out with a C. I attended class and everything ... he's just that bad.

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!!! First of all, he wrote his own book which has tons of errors. While he is giving the lecture, he makes lots of mistakes too. He doesn't explain the material, doesn't answer questions, etc. I excelled in math prior to this class but this time I barely pulled off a C.

!!! WARNING !!! DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS. Ignore the positive comments and save yourself. It's not about him - It's about you, your success: 1) The book he writes is indeed, FULL of mistakes. 2) Can't understand him. 3) I got an 89 on my first test and then my grade became a 71 after the restest. From there I just failed out. 4) EXTREMELY RUDE.
