Professor Noonan provides a syllabus at the beginning of the semester with everything thatll be on each test. Bullet point who, what, when, where, why for identifications / terms on tests and youll get an A! He definitely knows what hes talking about but if you dont learn well from JUST listening, you wont do well in the class.

A good professor who cares about what he's teaching. There is no homework, activities, or projects. There are 3 tests throughout the semester, which are based on the lectures. A study guide for each test is on the syllabus, study based off that and you'll be fine. Not much participation is needed, and the lectures can be kind of boring sometimes.

He gives all of his test questions in a packet in the beginning of the semester. Just keep an ear open for when the terms come up and take notes when needed. He also lets you record his lectures so you can always go back. Plus googling terms is a thing if you really cant follow along. But he really is a good teacher.. prob my fav teacher at evc

Best teacher ever. He makes the history sound like a story book. He allows you to record the lectures. Just sit back relax and follow along (take notes on anything super important) then relisten if needed to study. You could even do other things in class if you get really bored just make sure you somewhat listen and youll get it.

He loves what he does and thats evident in lectures. He is always ready to clarify and makes class very easy and interesting... test are only difficult if you don't attend class regularly or study.

Honestly a really easy teacher. His lectures were so boring, he literally reads his notes for an hour and half straight. I stopped coming to class because attendance wasn't mandatory. He gives you a list of vocal words and essay questions ahead of time, define those beforehand and make sure you know the background and he'll give you an A.

youre only graded on four tests, so no hw or classwork. he gives you all the study guides at the beginning of the semester. you could study everything on your own (its pretty easy to find online) and only go to class on the test days and youll get an A. Just make sure you study. its all essay format and he provides the small blue test books.

Gives you a syllabus just follow it and you'll get an A . Fast talker but syllabus makes it easy to follow along. Gives u exam in 2 sections terms and an essay type of questions. No hw just study, pays attention to detail on exams. Id say show up to class bcuz he likes detail n he talks about details.

By far the easiest History 001 teacher there is. He is very nice. Tardiness or Attendance does not matter at all. You're graded based on 4 test and nothing more. No HW or class work. Everything on the test will be on the syllabus he gives you, so you can study on your own, not go to class and only go on test day. You have to do a lot of studying.

I highly recommend you take him for any of the classes he offers. His lectures are long but he keeps it interesting by relating it to world wide current events. Grading is questionable since his exams are in which you have to answer the question with an essay, however if you answer the question with detail you'll most likely get full credit.

Honestly, this guy is so sweet. At first, I was a bit confused by his idea of lecturing and what we were to do as students, but really, if you copy down exactly what is on the board(which isn't much)and ONLY take notes on what he talks about regarding key terms that will be found on the exams, I swear on everything I own that his class is supereasy

Took Political Science over the summer. 3 tests, all essay. 8 terms, choose 5 and write 1 full blue book page on each. 2 essay questions, choose 1 and write 5-6 blue book pages on that. He gives you the terms & essay questions in your syllabus, so bring that to class, and when he mentions a term WRITE FAST. Record his lectures.

Its easy in the sense that he gives you all the questions on the exam but lectures horribly. I took him for a summer course and the 1st hour and a half he talked about random stories(which weren't even entertaining). Then the last 30 min. he lectured super fast. He hardly provides office time to ask for help. Bring a recorder & study.

Taking him right now for a summer course. He's easy in a sense that he will give you answers to questions that you know will be on the test. He's hard in a sense that he talks fast, and sometime gloss over vocab. terms, leaving you to find/study on your own in the end. If you work hard, you'll get a satisfying grade in the end.
