Ron Seyb is the best professor! He's immeasurably funny and knows the information he is teaching like the back of his hand. He really urges you to think and make connections between the material, and is an extremely fair grader. Take any class taught by Professor Seyb if you can!!!

Comment:

I adore Ronald Seyb. He is hilarious in class, and a great teacher. I wouldn't miss his class for the world. He is super willing to meet with you and very reasonable. I had him for my Scriber Seminar, and despite the fact that I have zero interest in government I am going to try to take at least one more class with him.

Ron Seyb is one of the best professors I have ever had. He is incredibly smart and knows everything about his subject. He is easy to understand and is always willing to help. He gives incredibly good feedback and is usually a fair grader. I would gladly take another one of his classes.

Seyb seems to know a lot about the topics he is teaching, however he doesn't stop to explain very well. He's a very interesting guys with lots of jokes. Hard to understand him at times though.... very difficult tests and papers.

Seyb maintains a great, relaxed classroom atmosphere - don't assume that he'll be as casual a grader. Provides the most thorough comments I have received (mark-ups every line, good and bad). Doesn't grade on participation, but will bump you up or down based on good attendance if you're borderline at semester's end.

My favorite professor at Skidmore, hands down. He's extremely animated and passionate in lecture. Very helpful. His essay questions are one of a kind. A closet conservative, but never inserts his own political beliefs into his lesson, a refreshing change from other profs I've had. No matter what kind I'm having, his class makes me smile.
