Do not be fooled by her rating, she is one of the nicest professors I have seen so far. Easy on deadlines and friendly in class, she is the teacher you want for IDC.

Yes she will act all friendly but when it comes to grading she has no mercy. Most important thing to remember she is quick to form her favorite students usually about two or three. You will hear her calling and praising them constantly. She will give u the same grade over and over. People u dont need this stress avoid her.

I loved this class, but you can't be honest about your reviews of the plays, you need to praise, praise praise. I was honest and I got those damn A-/B+, so if you want A- and A's on reviews, just say you loved it and it was fantastic due to all the extraordinary things a work of art can have. Fun class, especially since this woman knows everyone.

If you consider watching plays work, then you do a lot of work in this class. The main reason people do bad in her clas is because they dont "review" what they watch they summarize. The class is based on the reviews you write on the plays watched. Know how to express your opinion and you will get an A. You also don't have to read much.

Dedicated teacher, excellent with words, seems tough at the beginning, but turns out OK. Must watch plays, operas and all that jazz all the time. A fair amount of work, somewhat fair grader. Nice to students.

She is a smart ass. Her classes are really fun and easy to sit in, but she gives a ****load of work to do and not an easy grader either. But if you are interested in learning in her class than she's good.
