Comment:
Focus on in class examples over assigned homework for test and you should do fine. All notes are posted online and LOTS of extra credit chances. I found the quizzes very difficult more so than the exams. Quizzes are out of 25 points so not a lot of room for error on problems.

Took Keyer for Tech 1. Really a cool guy, you can ask him any question whenver and he will do his best to give you the best answer. Gives plenty of extra credit and is willing to talk with you if you're having problems. Highly recommend.

He posts all his lectures, and questions on exams are almost the same as what he does in class. He flat out states that he does not hold your hand and expects seniors to try. It's not easy but if you meet with him, he is helpful.

I dont like Keyer, period. He never seemed willing to help and obviously chooses favorites. Course is hard as expected, no complaints there. Lots of papers and work to do, but Keyer makes the class unpleasant.

all right teacher, teaches all necessary content and the course is fairly straightforward. Its demanding as expected for a 5 credit course. The work was fine and manageable. Biggest complaint was him. His attitude towards some students is demeaning. Gave assignments over breaks. Just in general not a good person. Made me dislike course.

I really enjoyed my semester with him. He is nice and willing to help if you ask for it. If you take him for tech 2, the first lab reports you hand in might not be so great but there are rewrites and you'll definitely get a better grade if you edit your work. If you put in the effort you won't fail his class.

Keyers awesome. End of story. he helps his students thoroughly understand the subject. He's great with office hours and he's willing to help his students. He's understanding and will give extra credit assignments when he sees the class struggling. He's definitely awesome and I recommend him to everyone :)

Hes a nice guy. If you actually do the homework (unlike me), or bother studying for the quizzes (unlike me), you will be able to easily get an A (unlike me). Even if you dont know how to do the problems, just write something down and he'll give you some credit. A lot of the stuff in class is review so you'll have a tendency to blow it off, but dont

The class is so easy. I barely opened the book ever. The tests come right from the notes and problems in class. He uses exact problems done in class with just different elements. Just read the notes and take your time in lab don't rush and your fine... Goto every class and your fine. I studied the night before the exams and got nearly 100s on them.

the class is not so bad... all you need to do is do good in lab, quizzes and tests. lol, seriously though, you need to keep up. he does curve. he seems very friendly when he speaks to the class in general, but it seems like he feels bothered when you approach him for a one on one. Who knows???????

He bites. Take Dr. Thomas, he actually likes to teach and cares about his students. Just take Thomas first and save yourself the agony.

Not a bad guy. He really isn't as difficult as some people make it seem. Yeah, you have to learn some stuff on your own but it is a big lecture...what do you expect? Don't let him scare you. He isn't so bad:)

His exam is extremely hard. He makes very creative problems each time; I studied his previous exam, but that didn't help at all. I took Thomas' class last semester and thought he was the worst, but no, KEYER IS EVEN WORSE. They don't have any good professor in chemistry department...
