Ms. Shields is absolutely amazing. She is an incredible speaker, and her passion for the field shows during every class period. A few days into the semester I found out that the course wouldn't count towards my program, but I stayed anyway because I knew this was literally going to be a life-changing course. You will not regret taking this class.

Interpersonal psych with Ms. Shields has been a journey in self-discovery with a wise and caring guide. She makes psychology so understandable and interesting. I have not missed a single class because every class is so enjoyable. This teacher knows how to teach psychology and cares about her students!

I took abnormal and developmental with her and have to say this woman is amazing and changed my life. She is one of the kindest people I've ever met. Her class was so informative but challenging. It taught me how to write research papers. Shields retired this year though but if she's back later TAKE HER. She is someone you want to meet!!

She's an excellent teacher. I took the online course. She's very organized, punctual with posting assignments, assigns interesting discussion boards, and grades accurately. As long as you read the textbook and take notes, the test will be a cakewalk. What I did was take notes and write the page numbers down to where I could find certain topics.

Took online PSY150. Reading the chapters and doing the chapter reviews before the 33 question tests are mandatory- and I still used the book on the quizzes making around 85 or 90. If you actually do your work you can do well. Discussion boards must be in depth but can be b.s. Not very easy but a helpful teacher.

DO NOT TAKE THIS ONLINE! I understand psy. is easy if you study in class, so how hard could it be if it was online? Well the test online is 80% of your grade and you have 1 hour to finish 33 questions and about 5-9 of them are completely not in the book. The last 20% is discussion on your opinion but she grades so harshly that you will be stressed.

SHE WAS AMAZING!!!! THE BEST TEACHER I EVER HAD AND TOTALLY CHANGED MY LIFE FOR THE BETTER :D I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER FOR ANY CLASS THAT SHE TEACHES... I took all of Sheila's psychology classes and am very glad I did. She is one of the best teachers I have EVER had and made things very clear. TAKE HER CLASS! This is studying involved but no homework, just a project (except in General Psy). Again, TAKE HER CLASS!
