The lectures are really long, but who doesn't love a class about dinosaurs! Lots of homework assignments but they are easy. If you study the Johnny Print notes you will pass the tests. This is a pretty easy class, but you MUST ATTEND in order to get the homework assignments. Lots of movie clips from BBC and Jurassic Park. Really great class!

This class is so incredibly easy. If you go to class and don't get an A then you shouldn't be in college. Write down the key terms before each lecture. THEY ARE THE TEST. I played on my phone and when I heard him start to answer one of the questions I'd write down the answer. Take this for an easy A

The course is easy overall as long as you copy and focus on the words Greb posts before class. Otherwise, he provides much more detail during lecture than you need to know for the test. Greb lectures quickly and sometimes it is hard to discern what information should be taken down in your notes. Exams are fairly straightforward and consistent.

At the beginning of every lecture he puts up a Words To Know. Make sure you write these down, they ARE the test. Definitely buy the notes because he goes through slides too quickly to write them yourself. Tests aren't too difficult if you study. The class would be great if it wasn't so long with only a ten minute break. Its hard to sit through.

Make sure you buy the notes and highlight or something during class. If you don't buy them, you will be lost. He outlines key points before class - WRITE THEM DOWN. Homework is tedious and tests are easy. He's passionate about the subject and tries to make it interesting. GREB IS THE MAN!!!

I would definitely recommend taking Dinos and Disasters with Greb. He is a cool guy and his teaching style is very clear. There is not textbook, just a booklet of powerpoint slides (which makes note-taking easy). Exams are not hard, especially since he sometimes gives hints about the exact questions as a reward to those who attend lecture. Fun!

The class can be a bit more complex than most people expect, but if you attend and do the homework (which can be graded harshly) you can expect a pretty easy A. Dr. Greb cares about how his students do, and outlines the key points he'll be testing on before going over new material. Study those, and go to class, and you'll ace the exams.

I took this class thinking it would be an easy A, and I struggled to get a C in it. The lectures are very hard to pay attention to because they are so BORING! The tests are hard because you don't know what to study. And it was my luck that every time I missed there was a homework or in class assign. Take a nat. sci. that will actually benefit you.

Class is EXTREMELY boring. Tests and class are hard because you dont know what the hell to study. Its such a broad range of information and so vague that he covers with no book. Doesn't give a study guide. Don't get tricked into thinking this is an easy A. It was the only B I had this term.

Greb is pretty dry but he is friendly and helpful. Worst part about class is the length, you also have lecture after the exam on test days which isnt fun. Tests are multiple choice but questions can be tricky. Very possible to get an A if you study and do your assignments.

stay the two hours, write down his terms and study for an hour before each exam, and you will do fine. watch out for the TA though, she is picky and grades the homework too hard. Greb is funny though, he looks like Bill Clinton.

He writes up key terms throughout each class which are used on his exams. Easy to make a study guide from it. Bring a pillow - lectures will put you to sleep faster than C-SPAN. Also, it was my first time seeing a fro on a white man.

this guy has a mullet, so that just goes to say he loves to party and that is what you get to do in this class. It is a party you don't even need to go to class to get a good grade in this class, just read his powerpoint presentations.

Yes this class is boring but what do you expect from dinosaurs. We watch a lot of movies. There are occassional homework assignments/papers that take 1-2 hours. The time goes by relatively fast. The thing I can't stand about the class is the TA -- he gives me the creeps. He thinks he's the prof.
