Dr. Duke is a sharp dresser. He also has his funny moments that make the class worth going to! He has a lot of experience teaching so you will be in good hands. You'll have to work hard for your grade, but the hard work will pay off. You should be happy if he's on your schedule! I cry myself to sleep each night. I recommend this professor!

Way too much work for Intro class. Takes it way too seriously. Dont count on an easy class. The project takes huge amounts of time and there are lectures and math assignments. Most people did end up with an A in the class, even though his grading seems very tough. Doesn't tell you what he wants from you. Very friendly and helpful in office hours.

Best engineering professor I have had since being at Auburn. He doesn't play mind games with you. So you don't have to guess what will be on the test or study the entire book because you don't know what will be on the test. He made CHEN 2610 my favorite class I have taken yet

He was a really good and easy to understand professor. It is a decent amount of work for the report but other than that it is not bad. Quizzes every week but easy. I made an A in the class but I worked hard on the 2 techinal reports.

This class is easy if you do what you are assigned, but you are assined ...ALOT. For a class that you get 2 credit hours for you put at least 12 hours a week into it. There are several different things going on all at once. Duke acts like this is the only class that matters, and takes it all way to seriously.

Duke is a nice person, but takes this class WAY too seriosuly. There are at least 3 different things going on at all times. Duke thinks his class is the only one we have. Also, if you get a bad group you're screwed. The whole semester you work with a group, and if you get one like i did you will end up spend 15+ hours a week just on this one class.

Dr. Duke is a great teacher. Intro to Chemical Engineering isn't a really interesting class, esp. since I'm a civil major. He tries to keep the class interesting and is very helpful. A lot of the class is based around the project. Even though the class is kind of boring, I would still take him again because he is a great teacher.

Dr. Duke has been my favorite engineering professor at Auburn. He's really helpful, his tests are a lot like the homework and the project is actually pretty interesting. Of course you have to work for this class, but overall it wasn't too stressful and I actually learned a lot.

Great teacher. A lot of different things going on, it's hard to be really sure of where you stand grade-wise. Didn't have to take a final, & adjusted grades whenever he could to help out everybody. Project wasn't bad, but the project report was confusing at first. Follow his suggestions for the 2nd report & put time into it & it'll be fine.

Very good professor and a good person. The class is perfect for helping freshman decide if they want to move on in Chemical engineering. I found the class easy, but it helped me realize that chemical engineering is not for me.
