His lectures were helpful, and you can always ask questions. There is a hw assignment (almost) every week, due the next week. Every week, you have a tutorial day where you work on problems with your friends in the class, and the tutorials are helpful study materials! He cares and is absolutely brilliant and really cares about his students.

Professor Wasserbaech is very caring and respectful, and always is looking for ways to help out students. It's very important to attend the lectures and do the readings to learn the most; also his tests aren't too hard but the homework does take time. All in all, a great class with a great professor

He is an awesome professor! He has a quiz everyday based on the reading for that day, but they aren't hard. If you do the reading then you should get the quiz question right. The homework only took me 4 hours a week and it was really helpful!

Steve is a phenomenal professor, the best I've had! He is the most patient, caring teacher you can imagine, always willing to help you in anyway possible. Most professors aren't great about answering emails, but I could exchange several with Dr. Wasserbaech in a single day to answer homework questions! Amazing, I highly recommend him!

Steve was the best professor I've ever had. Goes out of his way to help students. I think the class would have been really hard if he wasn't such a great professor. Highly recommend.

Professor Wasserbaech is probably the best professor I've ever had. His teaching style is clear and the lectures are interesting. You can tell he cares a lot about his students, and he is willing to go out of his way to help you. His in class examples are enthralling as well.

Steve made the subject easy to understand, through: Well structured lectures, homework which he encouraged questions about, and tutorials where you can practice and ask for clarification on problems. He provided equations and allowed a page of notes for tests, so you can focus on being able to solve the problem rather than memorization.

I loved Steve's class! He is just an all together great person. Physics can be a difficult subject, but I felt prepared for every test. He gives homework help everyday before lecture, he encourages you to message him during holidays if you have a homework question. He brought us cookies and milk during the final. The in-class demos are so cool!

Dr. Wasserbaech is one of if not the best professor at UVU in the physics department. He teaches thoroughly, and gives clear feedback. His tests are not difficult, as the difficult math-heavy questions are asked on the homework. His lectures are the key to surviving the class though, so you cannot skip them.

For a very difficult subject, Steve is the best instructor you could possibly hope for! His homework is hard to help you learn, but exams are much less complicated, which is great! And he does a special easier weighted grading scale that basically gives you extra credit. If you have to take physics, do all you possibly can to take it from him!

My only advice is to make sure you dedicate time to this class. I'd already taken a physics class a few semesters before, and passed it easily. I assumed this class was going to be easy, but somehow, it was harder than my others though. It even ended up being harder than the PHYS 2210 class I took, which was a lot more in depth.

Steve is a great professor. He knows what he is talking about and he does a great job at illustrating what he is talking about. He does an example/experiment everyday and many of them are really cool. The tests were very reasonable in terms of difficulty.

Difficult class, great professor! Steve really cares about his students and gives opportunities to get help. We had a one question quiz everyday to take care of attendance. Go to class, do the homework, and study a lot and you should get an A. It is a lot of work but Steve makes it bearable.

I have mixed feelings. He is extremely helpful and great with responding to emails, office hours. The pace is hard and he gets behind sometimes. The homework is impossible. The exams are a little easier... He shows cool cool demonstrations. When asking questions, he never really answers them. So if you know a little physics, you should be fine!

Steve is a wonderful professor and seems to care just as much about teaching as he does about physics, whether he does or not. I don't understand why people find the course so difficult. His exam questions almost always plug directly into the equations he emphasizes, maybe with a unit conversion or two. Despite requiring Calculus, you won't do any.
