The most interesting and thoughtful religious studies professor in the department. We always had amazing introspective and searching discussions and interesting material. A must if you want to explore the nature and complexity of personal faith. Don't miss the opportunity to take a class with her no matter what your major, you'll grow a lot.

Awesome professor! She assigns a massive amount of reading, but explains the texts very well in class. The readings are very interesting as well. She has a great sense of humor and welcomes that in the classroom and in papers. Very helpful and extremely smart.

a truly great professor. she assigns an enormous amount of reading, which initially takes quite a bit of adjustment, but you will appreciate it in the end. even though she is a fairly tough professor, she is more than willing to help you if you are having trouble with class material.

I found her to be very smart. She knows what she is talking about and love teaching. Though she can assign a lot of reading, she is an easy grader. She is very helpful outside of class and is willing to read over your work and give you feedback before you hand it in. Overall I recommend taking one of her classes.

Brilliant, amazing . . . very, very hard professor. She assigned 11 books for my first semester freshman class and assigned huge papers, but I definitely appreciated it. I learned more about religion than I could have imagined, and much more in depth.
