Dr. Dutt is amazing. He teaches you everything you need to know. His tests mimic the practice tests, he highlights the text you need to know in the online book. You MUST have the textbook to pass this class. I highly recommend him

Dr. Dutt was a great professor and really helped me to understand the material presented in the textbook. He outlines a very specific reading list of exactly which paragraphs in the textbook will be on the test, and he bases his lectures off of the reading list, going into depth and making the terms/explanations much more understandable.

Professor Dutt is a great professor. He really knows his information, and he also wants you to understand it. Don't miss class because the lectures can be heavy. He is also very funny. The exams are pretty much east, make sure to study. He also gives an outline of what to read in the textbook.

Comment:
Dutt very much understands how economics work and he would often do many analogies to explain some of the concepts. There are about 4 exams and a final. A book is required for the course. Read the pages you are assigned in the book and this class will literally be a breeze. The first exam is very easy but you really need to read for 3 and 4.

Dr. Dutt is a great professor. I have never liked economics, but he made it enjoyable and easy. This class is mostly the basics, but the only grades you have are 5 tests. The final is not cumulative, and he does curve the tests. He is a very nice man!

Dr. Dutt is a great professor and he is hilarious. You need to be in class to pass because he gives a lot of information about the stuff on the test and goes over key things you need to know. His lectures explain things way better than the textbook so take notes!

He is a great professor! Your entire grade relies on 5 exams taken throughout the semester, 40 questions each. They are not hard if you attend his lectures (although attendance isn't mandatory) and study the terms and formulas from the textbook. I recommend going to class because he explains things really well. If you study, you'll do fine.

This class is hard. The only thing you have is 4 tests, no homework. So if you don't do well on the tests then your not going to make a good grade in the class. The tests are very hard, 50 questions. Really funny guy, just not the best professor. His lectures don't make sense and he is very scattered. I recommend taking another professor.

Dr. Dutt is a great and funny prof. Tips to pass: 1. Come to every class and pick a good seat in the front! 2. Textbook is not mandatory but please for the love of God get it! Read the pages he gives after class and before an exam. 3. Don't skip and think you'll pass. 4 tests work 50 points each Not as bad as you think. May give extra credit.

You only have 4 test and they are each 50 questions. He grades by a point scale. There is no extra credit. You don't have to come to class but I would recommend it. To hear anything about the topic helps. His lectures are absolutely nothing like his test!! Read read read the book, it will be the only way you get a good garde on the test.

Mr. Dutt was a very nice and caring man. He would spell out all of the readings you needed to do for the tests... you only get four of them and thats all the grades you get. I got lucky to get a C in this class and I would read all that he recommended. If you take this class prepare yourself to study and read the book a lot.

If you take good notes and study you will be fine. The book is a good thing to have while you are taking notes, but you do not technically need it. We had 5 tests, each 50 points each. He gave credit for problems he messed up and sometimes extra, but not a lot. He is awesome and fun to listen to. It makes you want to go to class.

Very intelligent guy . He clearly knows everything he talks about. I think it's just my learning style, but I had a lot of issues trying to figure out what topic he skipped to or was on. The topic would start off on one side of the board, but then end up between another topic between something else - are they related?

He is very LOUD, so you want fall asleep in class. And he SPELLS IT OUT FOR YOU (insider you'll understand when you take him) . His grading is very specific e gives grades the next day. He only test you on wat he teaches in class. He tells you to get the book but you want need it.

Easy class, only 3 test and a case study. The case study is a summary of an article and as long as you do it you get full credit. He tells you everything that's going to be on the test. Only time I went to class was the day before and day of the test and still made an A in the class! Extremely easy , would definitely take him again.

Dr. Dutt teaches a very old-school style class with 4 tests and a case study. The tests are quite easy if you study the chapters in the book, and the case study isn't bad at all. Attendance isn't mandatory, but go anyway because he covers the topics for the tests. Overall, he's a great, funny, and direct teacher that I would definitely recommend!
