Dr. Banchich is a retiring professor from the Golden Age of Canisius College. An amazing professor that is incredibly knowledgeable and personable. Although the course was incredibly difficult Dr. Banchich attempted to offer a consumable Greek language course despite the difficult content. There were no papers and three exams that are curved

He is an amazing professor who really knows what he is talking about. I took his Greek History class and while the material would sometimes get confusing, he is always willing to help. If you really show him that you're taking initiative by going to his office hours before exams and essays, he will really help you out and make sure you do well

Banchich is a great guy and you can really tell that he is interested in what he's talking about. It's a little difficult to follow his notes on the board but if you listen to him you'll be fine. Going to class is a must because you only get supplementary works. Multiple map quizzes, two tests and two five page papers (which are difficult to write)

My favorite professor so far I highly recommend his Greek and Roman history courses. He is a bit quiet and monotone so you need a little caffeine for his class. Easily the best professor on campus and it is clear he loves his job. If you pay attention you'll see he is very funny too! He is also extremely nice I wish I could take these classes again

He is a good teacher and nice guy, knows what he is teaching. However his grading was difficult, not that hard to get an A-, really hard to get an A. I worked really hard all semester and only got an A- since there are 5 categories he takes your final grade from. Quizzes, 2 essays, and 2 exams, do OK on one and your chances of an A are gone.

Great guy but grades way too hard on essays. Also doesn't give any form of extra credit or chances to make up your grade.

Great professor. He gives you all the material to study that will be on the test. He makes the class easy to get an A. Have 2 papers you have to do, but he will look over them and tell you what to correct before you turn it in. He is an amazing teacher, def take if you are looking for an easy A.

Very very very nice and obviously loves his job. If you're interesting the course go for it but if you're like me and are not what so ever DON'T DO IT. lots of notes everyday, reading every night, he's very monotone and quite. Maybe it doesn't help I had it at 8:30 but the class drags on foreverrrrrr.

Dr. Banchich is honestly the cutest man ever. He gives a lot of quizzes that are all easy A's. There are 2 papers a midterm and final. Honestly I wish this man was my grandpa or Santa Clause. He is so sweet! Very approachable for help with papers and tests. TAKE HIS CLASS.

Interesting class, one of my favorite professors. Not hard to get an A- but hard to get an A. Hard grader on essays, but reasonable if you go and see him. Quizzes are an easy A, midterm, then final, and two papers.

Absolutely adored this professor for both Greek and Roman history. He is a true gentleman and a wonderful teacher who challenges you to think for yourself and analyze your reading. I learned so much from him and he stands out as one of my favorite professors in four years at Canisius!

Mr. Banchich is such a nice guy. He really likes what he teaches and knows his stuff. The quizzes are multiple choice and not hard if you pay attention. He is a bit boring sometimes, but the good thing is that you dont need to remember everything to do well. Two tests all essays, and two other essays, not too bad.

He is a very nice guy but the way that he teaches is very boring and it is hard to pay attention. A few small quiz's and two long papers that are moderately difficult. I would not take this class unless you have a general interest in history.

Nice guy but class really boring. Papers are decent and tests are multiple choice with essay topic that he gives you ahead of time. Even if you don't do good on the papers he gives easy quizzes to boost your grade. Reminds me of Ben Stein in Ferris Bueller.
