Comment:

Strachen is a teacher who makes you actually WANT to go to class! He is amusing and actually uses legitimate real world experience to explain content. He involves you in the lecture and makes it fun and more personalized. He's extremely helpful and will make time for you if you need it. TAKE HIM!! Two weekly chptr quizzes, mid, final, paper.

Comment:

Professor Strachan is cool. He keeps his lectures interesting but does follow by the book. Its an easy A took Hybrid course just need to do all quizzes online open book, Compliance Report, Midterm, and Final in class. You will need your book for quizzes and you will get a review for midterm and Final. Notes allowed for Final.

He does not reply his emails at all. Seems like he's really humorous and amazing in class, but cannot reach him outside of class. His reviews are also not related to the tests cuz he isn't the one who designs the tests. Overall, he's an okay teacher.

Took Mrs. Usnick for BA 3301 Spring Semester, and i got Mr. Strachan as the instructor. By far the most fun and easiest class you can take. 2 Quizzes every week, one paper the whole semester, one midterm and final exam. Honestly just show up to class, read and i promise you will pass with an A.

Great professor, he's a lawyer, the lectures were interesting and he tells you exactly the notes you need to take. There will be some interesting discussions of current events. The tests are a bit challenging - true and false, multiple choice, and fill in the blank. There are very few assignments, quizzes, and tests so ALWAYS try for a good grade.

This professor is incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to business law. Every class started out with discussion topics of current events. His ability to inspire you to consider your point of view from others perspective allowing you a more well rounded opinion and consideration for the situation. A must take class. Has a great sense of humor!!

He literally outlines each chapter for you on the board. This guy is great, very involved. 2 quizzes, midterm, final, and a court paper. I got away with not purchasing the book since his notes are so detailed.

As long as you show up to class, you will pass. He gives you the exact notes needed for the test and explains the concepts really well. He makes the the class fun and understands that people have lives outside of school. Great teacher would take again if I could.

He is an amazing professor. I really enjoyed his class. Sad that he doesn't teach any other classes. Show up, take notes as he describes, show up to all classes, read the chapters he assigns, do the court paper, be involved in discussions, and you will do just fine!!

He is one of the best professors as you can tell by the other comments. But if you come to class and take notes the way he tells you at the beginning of class than you should be fine. You don't need to read the entire book just a few chapters to study you just need to read your notes. His classes fill up quick since he only has one class. (:

Professor is professional and fun. This class is very interesting and there is a lot of class participation. If you come to class, take notes, and engage in the conversations you will pass the class. The exams are fair and their is extra credit. I would highly recommend anyone needing this class to take this professor.

I've taken this class before with another boring professor (boring!). I'm so thankful Strachan was available for my schedule. You need to go to class bc exams are from his lecture notes. Study your notes and you should pass. Easy Court Assignment. Exams may have some tricky questions but overall very duable. Thank you Strachan for an amazing class!

Best Professor at UHD. YOU have to come to class his lectures arrant posted online so you take notes from his class. The final is cumaltive or not depeding on the class average. I wish he was a full time professor teaching all the classes that i had to take.

This 2-3 hour class is not boring at all, because he is hilarious, very knowledgeable and has great skills in teaching. An eye candy too! You'll not regret taking this class because he makes it very easy to understand and not a hard grader! Definitely recommend him!!! You'll never want to miss his class ;)

Professor Strachan really understands that students have jobs and how difficult it is to be a full time student also. He really loves and enjoys teaching. He cares, helps, and is there for his students. I would take him again if he taught more classes.

He is an excellent professor. He explains everything and then you can take notes. You study your note, read in the book, you probably get A. (Dont just study in the note but you have to read in the book too.)
