he is a good professor, but if you do not come to class, you will fail the exams. his slides are very vague so you have to listen to what he says and take notes. with that said, you still need to do a little textbook reading for the exams. Overall, he is a nice guy, his class is a bit difficult because he only grades on tests

Professor Bledsoe is one of the most intelligent profs I've had at Wayne. He knows an immense amount about legislative processes. Dry humor. He's a democrat, but very unbiased in class. Graded on two exams and a paper. He gives you a study guide and pulls questions directly from it. You do NOT need the book. Go to class to take notes!!!

By far the most straight forward class I've ever taken at Wayne. You only use the required text for the first couple of week. Take good notes on everything. Knock out your Book report and surveys early. Attend every class especially once you switch to the lab. Prof. B was among the best instructors I've came across at Wayne.

Perfect professor for Campaigns and Elections class. He was a Michigan legislature for years and he gave firsthand experiences and applied them to the course. Obviously it was a great semester for this course due to the election, it was very interesting. He ran as a Democrat but did not teach with any bias whatsoever. Grades only two essay exams.

Dr. Bledsoe is straight-forward about what he wants you to know. He goes out of his way to make sure everyone is prepared for his exams. He only asks that you are present for class and made be like the social sciences a lot more. Wayne is lucky to have him.

He is a funny teacher and makes his lectures enjoyable. His test were tough but he did give extra after every test. GO TO EVERY CLASS!!!!!! I only missed a few because of military events in the beginning. What he says in class in on the test. The book did not help out much. If you can take him!

This topics discussed in this class were very interesting. Mr. Bledsoe is a funny guy and it was nice being in this class. There were a few drawbacks which got me a B. You HAVE to attend every class or get notes from someone who does. Write down EVERY thing he says because even if he said it once it might be on the test.

Professor Bledsoe is a pretty cool guy. His lectures are very clear. He also tries to make the content easy to relate to. There are only three tests in his class, so studying hard and attending all the classes are key.

I highly recommend professor Bledsoe if you can come to class regularly and take good notes. His lectures are clear and his test are best directly from them. Even if you don't go to the class find someone with good notes memorize them and you'll be fine.

Not as bad as some of these posts make him out to be, but not the best instructor for this course. Too aloof and uneccesarily harsh. Having trouble with the material? Too bad, it's your fault, spend more time in the data lab. Largely unhelpful, and less than clear lectures. Try to take this class with Elder or Sarbaugh-Thompson if you can.

Truly a shame they haven't abrogated his permit from earth yet. This individual thrives on taking his "authority" to the extreme. Had he been around the end of my final semester, we would have had quite a onversation, avoid if possible. An outstanding example of a truly unhappy individual. pssff

First impression; he is a nice guy that seems to be pretty easy going. Well, he is- this class is not hard and he is passionate about politics. Many great attributes to the class and I would say he breaks the material down to a young adult level. Good guy, I would recommend him.

Many unclear lectures, forgetful, not interested in being helpful or presenting a crystal clear lecture, avoids answering questions, does not clarify, had a whole class fail a midterm, unorganized. Shameful.
