Comment:

The other reviews were not lying when they said she is a tough grader. Gave many 0s. As long as you follow the rubric exactly, you will get good grades. She is so sweet and caring, but was a tough class. No exams. Main grades were the observation assignments. Follow directions and you'll be fine. She is super sweet and I learned a lot!

Prof. Keyes seems to get a bad rap on here but she really isn't that bad. She is not the best I have ever had but not the worst either. She is a tough yet consistent grader. She does take a long time to grade things though. She tells you what you need to study for the tests and even had our final as a take home exam. A typical professor.

Comment:

Professor Keyes is one of my favorite professors at Kutztown. You get out what you put in in this class. Your TCM's that you make are super helpful for future teachers and they're fun to make! She is really willing to help in any situation and I would definitely recommend taking her.

This is the worst professor I have ever had in my life. Stay away from her I am warning you! She seems nice at first bit is a perfectionist and does not explain anything well. I have had her in call and online and she is just horrible. She have given me and others 0 on projects because it was not 100 percent perfect. DO NOT TAKE!!!

Very nice and always prepared. But, very picky when it comes to projects and homework. You also spend a decent amount of money on each project because she wants you to laminate everything.

Professer Keyes isn't necessarily out to get you but she can come off as condescending as others have said. She's also very disorganized and is usually unprepared. I tried really hard to like her but at the end of the semester I just want to get out of class.

Absolutely the worst you will ever have. I learned nothing in this class. If you spend lots of money you might pass. She expects you to laminate everything which cost a ton of money if you dont have a laminator. She is way out of line with her egotistical attitude and not knowing how to teach a thing. Busy work busy work learn nothing.

She is such a perfectionist and very condescending. Many small group projects. Four projects for the semester. She isn't very clear on what she wants for them. 8 hours of observation in infant, toddler, and preschool.

Prof Keyes is by far the absolute worst teacherprof I have ever had or come in contact with. She is not helpful, not clear on what she expects, is very political and has her favorites in class and could care less about anything but herself. She should never be aloud to be a teacher or a professor at any level. The worst dont take her WARNING.

Professor Keyes was one of the best professors Ive had at Kutztown. She is very helpful and almost always gives you the chance to correct things you did receive full credit on. She is a bit of perfectionist and she likes things to be exact, but speaking as a future teacher, i believe everyone should aspire to do the same.

She is the most condescending human being I have ever met in my life. Take other professors for EEU classes so that you don't bear the brunt of her own lack of self esteem delivered in the form of criticism. If you do have her, as long as you remember that only she is perfect and you never will be, you'll do fine. Avoid if you can though.

Tracy Keyes is the WORST professor I have ever come across in my 3 years at KU. She is unhelpful, rude, snobby, and treats you like you are stupid if you as for clarification. She failed me for an assignment even though I had a medical excuse. You basically have to buy your grade in her class for projects. Do NOT take ANY of her classes!!!!!!!!!!!!

She is a very specific professor, but I found that helpful in completing the assignments. Some of her assignments may be a little unclear, but she is always willing to answer questions. She is also very helpful in general. She helps those who help themselves. I would recommend her to people who want to learn a lot and want a good professor.

Had her 4 online class. So unorganized! Not clear about what she wants. Gives examples, but then what is really due is something totally different. Steer clear of this professor, unless you are a mind reader and could figure out on your own what is expected of you.

Great Professor! I had her for 2 classes and loved her! I am so sad I do not have her this semester! Her classes are a lot of work but she is very helpful! She is always willing to help you during her office hours and in class!! If I could I would take her again!!! Don't believe what everyone writes about her! It isn't true! She is super nice!!

Professor Keyes is VERY organized. She makes her expectations for the course very clear, but can nit-pick when it comes to grades. If you follow the assignment rubrics and actually put some time into your assignments, you shouldn't have a problem getting a good grade. She is very helpful and willing to answer questions.

OH MY GOD. she isnt clear about what she wants, and constantly changes her mind. if she doesnt like something about your teacher created materials for projects, she will call you out in front of everyone. her grading is all over the place. & she has the class constantly doing busy work. don't take her if you don't have to.
