Comment:

Wendy is a great professor! She makes lectures really interesting and fun along the way. I'm not a communication major, but shes one of my favorites at UCM. She has a social justice focus in class which I really appreciate.

Dr. Geiger is hands down one of the best teachers in the Comm department. She's does a great job of explaining material and expectations - if you are looking for a blow off class stay away. You will work and you will learn, but most of all enjoy the environment and the engagement of having Geiger as a teacher.

Wendy Geiger is a great professor, she is very clear when she lectures and get ready for her tests because if you don't read or take notes you will fail. Her test are all essay format other than that she is really fair when it comes to grading and she is very nice and helpful when you ask questions. She has an awesome personality, classes are fun

Wendy is a very engaging, interesting professor who really makes an effort to connect with her students. Take any classes you can with her! The course requires a bit of work, and the tests are essay format, but her course was my favorite of the semester.

I took both Comm Research Methods & Social Influence with Geiger. Although these classes were some of the toughest & different from most of my other Comm classes. Definitely study for the tests too. Geiger knows her stuff, is fair, & is the nicest professor in the Comm department.

I love Wendy! She is such a smart, wise and well-rounded person. She makes the classes super fun and she is so engaging and inviting. hope you can write fast or type bc you have to follow along with notes.tests aren't easiest but if you study, you'll be fine. she will give you clarification always!

Geiger takes something as boring as Research Methods at 9a.m. and makes class bearable, even enjoyable! She is very knowledgeable in the subject and general wants you to do well and understand as well. Study for those tests, because she's no easy grader, but she is nice, funny and you WILL learn a lot. Also, attendance isn't mandatory.

Wendy was very helpful in working with me. I almost had to drop her class, but she worked with me because she could tell I had a genuine interest in graduating. I often get lost in the jargon profs use, but she does a great job of breaking things down so one can understand. If you are having problems talk to her, she will help you.

After many years of being out of Central, I still think about her classes and what she taught me. She is the BEST teacher I have ever had. I am in graduate school now and keep comparing my professors to Wendy. She is an asset to UCM and I think every student should take at least one of her classes. Wendy, I MISS YOU!!!!!!!!!

This by far the best class I have taken. Dr. Geiger is a great professor I would recommend her for a raise. I truly think she takes an interest in students learning.Take home test; you put the time in you will get a good grade, slack off and you will get that grade. Down to earth lecture and you are free to express your own opinions. TOP NOTCH!!

She was great prof! Very clear, funny, entertaining. makes info relevant. Tests all essay, know info well be able to compare/contrast diff theories, apply to real life situations. (read poem, story, apply theory) go to textbook website and print off instructor outlines for each chpter. saved my life! i loved this class and this teacher. a def fav!

One of my favorites. Excellent teacher. Passionate about teaching and cares about her students being successful. I honestly don't know how anyone could dislike her, they must dislike themselves so they are taking it out on her. Get over yourselves!

Great teacher! Makes class fun and educational! For the comments posted earlier, I can only say that she talked little about her sexuality and that the things she did discuss were in reference to the lesson. Read the book, come to class, don't be a biggot.

I had Dr. Geiger for Communication theory! She is awesome! Her lectures are fun to listen to. If you take thorough notes, you will have no problem with the tests! No homework! I WOULD RECOMMEND TAKING HER CLASS! She is very nice, fun, and helpful!

Tests aren't as bad as she makes them sound. Gives perfect examples to back up what she is lecturing about. Not going to class doesn't hurt you. Easy to talk to. One of the best
