Comment:

Dr. Pullin is an excellent professor, and a very fair marker. Only 4 exams take place in this class, and the final exam is optional and chance to re-write a previous exam. She uses real-life experience to supplement lectures and is very interesting to listen to. I would definitely take another class with her, as she is a very good professor.

Comment:

Pullin furthered my interest in the field of psychology. Her tests were based on the textbook and in-class material, and there was no final if you didn't want to rewrite one of the midterms from the semester. As long as you read the textbook and pay attention in class you'll be golden. I would definitely take another class with her!

Wendy seemed to really enjoy teaching. She made her class very interesting. I found her multiple choice exams difficult because they were from 200 pages of the textbook each time. Your short answer is almost always the activities you do in class.

Dr. Pullin is one of the sweetest and most knowledgable profs I have had. She marks based on your own learning curve and is very fair. If you review your material you will do exceptionally well in her classes. She also prepares you very well for midterms, papers and finals.

I love Pullin, I actually try to find courses to complete my degreee which she teaches! she is such a nice lady, I don't find her biased at all! I enjoyed attending every class, in both personality and womens psych. Just show up and study as you would normally and you'll be fine, she is a moderate marker, and very enthusiastic =)

I did good in her class, but I can agree with past comments that she is biased. Just work your ass off and come to class everytime and you'll do fine.

She is a biased teacher and biased in her markings as well. I guess that's why she teaches women's psych. Tests are on details from the text that have no relevance. Participation mark is her way of picking her favorites and giving them great marks. Should there be 25% participation mark in a third year university course????? Don't think so.

Tests on the most obscure and unimportant info from the tiniest print in the text. Be sure to MEMORIZE every seemingly unimportant detail otherwise you won't do well at all. Doesn't show marks and doesn't go over exams thoroughly. No prior knowledge given on what to study.

It doesn't matter how hard you work when you write the paper, she will still mark you according to how your average is on your exams. She also won't indicate on the paper what it was you did wrong. She's a VERY biased marker. It really isn't fair at all.
