Assigns hw and doesn't go over the material in class until AFTER the hw is due or the day before if you're lucky. EVERY hw problem and take-home quiz MUST be verified to receive credit and you won't know if your verification method is correct until MONTHS later when the TA gets around to grading it and gives no useful feedback at all.

Doesn't care about students AT ALL. Won't give you the time of day, shoos you out of his office. If you seek help or ask how to more effectively prepare for exams, his only advice is "read all the textbook chapters and solve every problem". Luckily the TA he had was a literal angel and was helpful, otherwise I would be down a letter grade or two.

One of the worst professors I've had during my time at USF. Absolutely horrible at conveying any meaningful information. I've never seen him complete a problem in it's entirety - he just rambles from concept to concept with no coherent purpose. Exams are extremely hard and you are expected to remember everything you've ever been taught about math.

I had this professor for 3 consecutive semesters, best professor I have ever had. He answers all the questions that you may have, exams are pretty much like the homework and quizes, just go to class, ask questions and redo examples that he covered in class, you will get an A easily.

Dr Moreno is the best EE professor i took so far. His lectures are really useful and helpful. I like his style as he teaches the material rather than just lecturing. Study his quizzes, notes, and book examples and you will be safe in exames. His recitation is all good as he do problems in groups. Quizzes are easy, HW somewhat hard but not on test.

He likes to tell stories during lecture time, which sometimes they are useful, more often wasteful. He does half the problems in class and recitation, and doesn't really answer questions directly. It's better to wait to take classes with someone else if you can. I've put my whole heart into this class and it looks like I'm not passing.

Not a big fan. Gives weekly homework that always needs verification. Tests are fair but he ruined the class for me. He thinks he teaches the best way but refuses to listen to anyone who critiques him.

The course goes fast and sometimes It was a problem for me but he always finds a way to help you, he can explain in more detail on office hours also he takes in count how you are involved with the course and how is your performance before to give your final grade. Very Kindness teacher

Lectures are awful. Very confusing. He never finishes problems completely (trails off when it gets complicated and says "i dont know, you check my math"). ALL EXAMS WILL HAVE DEPENDENT SOURCES. THEY WILL NEVER BE COVERED IN LECTURE OR HW. You will never be prepared for the exams no matter how much you study. They are unreflective of lectures/hw.

his tests are difficult and his lectures are useless, but you have to show up because of random quizes. go to the TA sessions or read the book and work every problem teaching yourself if you want a chance of passing. he gives no partial credit.

Sit in the front if you're in an auditorium or interested. Work the examples in the book thoroughly then do the questions. The tests are very fair. He explains from multiple perspectives and prevents those confusing "what if" questions from spreading confusion. This isn't high school anymore and you're not a psych major. If you want an A. Do Work.

Comment:
He goes on random tangents about various South American countries, he writes very small on the board so it is still difficult to see even if you sit in the front, and he often makes careless mistakes. I really wish I ad listened to the reviews on this board. I thought I'd give a shot regardless that his reviews were so low. Man, how I regret that.

Can not do half the math he attempts on the board. When he gets stuck, he assigns the work as homework to be due in the next class. Seems to be more interested in bringing in international students than helping the students he currently is teaching. He is fair when it comes to grades, terrible at covering required materials. EE at usf is a joke

Not good, basically teaching yourself out of the textbook the concepts of the material. Bad at giving partial credit. Does not finish examples, would partially do a problem then say, you can solve it yourself.

Difficult to understand and poor at explaining complex subjects. Scour the text and find a good tutor. Will repond to questions occassionally with "I have already covered that" and may or may not explain. Going over more examples in class might make it passable.

Travels all the time and has grad students teach for him. When he is there, disorganized and will answer his cell phone while teaching. If you want to learn in his classes, be prepared to teach yourself.

"Willie" is a good teacher who knows his stuff, but this class will eat up most of your time because of all the homework he assigns. His first test is crazy hard, but the second test and final are easier. He assigns a huge "proyect" (project) a week before classes end. Overall, Willie likes to make "yokes" (jokes), but he is very demanding.

Never spends any time with students. Always busy. Nice guy, but made the class not so interesting. Expect to memorize A LOT of formulas and Laplace Tables...too much
