Such an amazing professor!! He puts so much work into his lectures and for the online class has his own videos. Some of them were so funny and fun to watch. Would definitely take again and I highly recommend

Comment:

Love him!!! So organized, so many EC opportunities, hes passionate about his work and literally WROTE THE BOOK on oceanography. He should teach other professors how to do online courses. Its user friendly, hes funny, so accessible, helpful and I just adore this guy even if I still hate ocean lol.

There is a lot of martial to cover in a short time. I took the intermediate session and it was rough. I didn't read the book but I did take his practice quizzes. (similar questions) 5 test. quiz almost every night. 1 research paper. small E.C. Overall he is a fantastic teach and responds back fast. It's challenging but worth it. Very fair prof.

Can't say enough great things about Prof Trujillo! Be ready to team up with a group for the entire term. Your success depends partly on the group dynamic. Your individual participation makes up the other part of your grade. Although it's a Science, professor Trujillo teaches the course in an effective manner with enough humor to make it enjoyable

Mr. T is the absolute best. I am currently enrolled in his 4 week online course and I love it. He's hysterical and informative. There is a lot and you need to take lots of notes, but he really makes the class a safe haven for trial and error. The only way that you wouldn't pass the class is if you don't stay organized during the short semester.

Excellent teacher. Book is cheap, online card not too expensive. No final. About 7-10 hours per week. Optional quizzes help build you notes for exam. Do three chapters in three weeks then take Exam, which can be challenging, especially 40 Q's in 45 minutes. Lots of ECredit. Great emailer. Don't get scared by very detailed weekly stuff, most vids.

Trujillo has been my favorite professor so far at Palomar. He makes the class fun- it's not one you'll fall asleep in. You work a lot in groups, he shows demos and videos, and will throw a joke in here and there. There is an open note quiz once a week, 5 exams, and a lot of in class activities. Take notes, don't be late to class, STUDY for exams!

Mr. Trujillo is a great teacher. Wish there were more like him. Laid back, easy to talk to, gives extra credit. Can tell you the best way for you to pass his class with an A. I can't imagine anyone Not passing this course. Interesting and funny. Read the syllabus, follow the weekly schedule and do the extra credit. (Not mandatory)

This guy was awesome. His online class was fun and I learned a lot. He offered plenty of extra credit opportunities and was always responsive and cool in his e-mails. He makes an online class seem like what it's supposed to be and I enjoyed the structure of the class. I would definitely take him again in a different subject.

I took Mr. Trujillo's 4-week intersession course. Awesome experience! He makes online learning fun, engaging, and exciting. Be prepared to put in the time and effort! He takes the online learning experience to a whole other level and makes sure you're engaged in the learning. 100% class act. Very organized and goes the extra mile for his students.

I had Mr. Trujillo online and he really is a great teacher who is passionate about what he teaches. Assignments are easy and interesting, tests are pretty straight forward, and he also posts a lot of cool videos that make you interested in Oceanography. Take Ocean 100 with Mr. Trujillo you will not be dissapointed!

Nicely done course. Brief, concise and to the point. Very organized in his teaching and presentations. Made me very interested in the subject and always kept it interesting with many of odd examples of oceanographic terms and adventures. Highly recommend . He was on the spot everyday and communicated perfectly with students. Class act!

Mr. Trujillo is an excellent teacher and very knowledgeable about the subject. I actually learned a lot and it has made me more conscious of littering our rivers and ocean. He was always extremely quick to reply to any question. He is a fabulous teacher and his assignments are very organized and easy as long as you stay on task.

Indeed the best Professor ever! He reminds me of King Triton, in that he inspired me to have respect the Ocean. He is very passionate about his job and puts A LOT of effort to inspire that same passion for our Oceans. This course is busy work, but if you plan your weekly assignments accordingly you"ll do well. Apply yourself ;o) its worth it!

I took this class in 1994, people. Mr. T was so good I still remember our very first class, some of his kind and thoughtful advice to me, his generosity and the way he made oceanography seem like The Most Amazing Subject EVER. I compare every single teacher to Mr. T. He is truly the gold standard of professors.

So entertaining and informative. You leave this class caring about the ocean. He is super animated and there are ton of extra credit opps. This class was easy and so far he is my favorite professor. I think everyone in the class agreed. You don't need the book but its nice to refer to. And you definitely don't need the latests edition.

I took this class online and it was very easy. No more than two hours of work a week and some weeks there is no required work at all. Tests are all open note. Strongly recommend this class!
