Nice enough guy, and has reasonable expectations of you. Make sure you do the homework as it's assigned and come in with questions on anything you don't understand. Not too hard with some effort, but expect to work for a good grade.

If you're a math major, this is your guy. You get to do everything the hard way. Rather than use your $100 plus dollar calculator to it's fullest, you might just as well get out your abacus. I dropped this class because my GPA is important to me. This class was made unnecessarily difficult. BTW, bring your Aderall. He paces during tests! Painful!

This is NOT how math should be taught. Great guy, but most difficult grader I've ever had. Tests are ridiculously hard. He just stands at the board and writes for 2 hrs. Overall runs an exhausting, stressful, awful class. Most kids dropped before the first test, and hardly anyone passed. First non-A I've ever gotten. Wouldnt recommend at all.

If you are not a math wiz DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS! I spent time with the school tutor along with a personal tutor and I still struggled! He gets anxious/rude when you ask him a question in class. His study guides do not help with the exams. The good things are homework is graded on completion and your two lowest quizzes are dropped.

It is impossible to keep up with the speed at which he breezes through the topics. He stands at the front of class with his back turned to the students as he scribbles on the board the for the entire length of the class. My class started with about 30 kids and finished with 6.

THE HOMEWORK IS ONLINE. THE HOMEWORK EXPLAIN BETTER THAN HOW HE EXPLAIN IN CLASS, HE IS VERY FAST AT EXPLAINING. DO NOT TAKE HIM. The quizzes are so vague. for example, he WILL TELL YOU TO STUDY SECTONS 1-5 AND THE QUIZ WILL BE ON JUST SECTION 3.

This guy. Either this teacher is the best, or the worst. If you want to learn a subject, this is the teacher for you. In terms of education per dollar, this guy is the best. He covers everything. You do the work, study, go to office hours, and you will understand the subject. Lazy? Avoid. Will use 90% of your free time just to pass.

Dr. DAmours class made me hate my life at some point. However, if you talk to him and ask for help, he is more than willing. Also, he explains material very well, but the quizzes and tests are those extremely tedious homework problems you initially avoided. Take him with an positive attitude and youll realize hes the best there is !

He makes simple concepts seem like rocket science. He is a difficult grader and goes through material too quickly without explaining it thoroughly. If you ask questions he is rude. Don't waste your time, take it with someone else.

I have never taken a course as difficult as the one I am taking now. I am half way through the semester with a grade I have never seen on any of my report cards or transcripts before. He writes notes on the board but doesn't go over things thoroughly. He goes through everything super fast. Homework online teaches me more than I learn in class.

Class is terrible! The homework is online, there will be multiple sections to do a day, and the moment you fall behind it will be nearly impossible to catch up. His quizzes are similar to the book and the online homework which wasn't too bad. However, he moves way too fast. Save your GPA go with someone else

This guy goes waaaay too fast. Just does the questions and answers on the board and basically keeps going til its time to leave. Taught myself through the book and had a tutor. Still failing and need a miracle to pass the class. His exams are tough and the homework is ridiculous.

This guy doesnt seem to understand that you cant just write theorem after theorem on the board expecting students to understand it. Math is learned by doing, and i dont see the point of his style of lecturing. You are better off trying to learn the stuff on your own at your own pace, using lots of examples and gradually progress into the theorem.

He is certainly very challenging, and if you are not intrisically motivated to learn the material, you will fail. I guarantee, however, that if you desire a passing grade, and work hard, you will learn much from him. He is always very helpful during office hourse, but does not give answers, because he wants you to obtain material for yourself.

He tries so hard, but he just isn't a good teacher. As a math major in his calc 2 class, I was beyond confused! He's really nice but you really have to do all the work to pass this class.
