Teklu is a nice professor. He gives you online homework for every chapter that can be somewhat difficult. Tells you that the homework will help with the tests but it doesn't really help. Tests are pretty hard. Quizzes are alright. Not the best, but certainly not the worst professor for physics at cofc

Terrific person, terrible teacher. Test questions were from HW, but they were the most difficult ones while he only went through the easy ones in class (so you had to teach yourself). Unclear about his expectations. His "study guides" were a joke since they provided no guidance and contained information that should've already been on the syllabus.

I dont understand how he is still a professor at this college. His class was so unorganized and no one knew what was going on ever. Did not learn anything. worst teacher i have ever had EVER.

I had no prior physics knowledge before coming into this class, and I still feel like I have none. The tests are all problems from the hw, so if you know the hw, you're golden. It was fairly easy for the most part, and Teklu is extremely helpful in office hours. He wants everyone to succeed, and he's very passionate about physics. Recommended!

Misleading to call him easy,as the subject is not for most.Super nice guy,who definitely will go above and beyond to help you succeed.He wants you to understand the material,so you will need to work.You will need to spend a decent amount of time on HW and test prep.Very intelligent man who cares about his students and loves physics.

Completely fair. He knows the subject is difficult for most people and does his best to keep HW and test questions as straightforward as possible. He's also incredibly helpful if you need extra help. Grading is basically 3 tests, 5 or 6 problems each, and the final. He's definitely the teacher you want to have for Physics 111.

Very nice professor. His lectures can get boring sometimes but that is expected, get over it. This is a physics class, so for most, it won't be fun. He is a really helpful guy, tests are straight from stuff we learned in class and he is always asking for ways to improve the class. He gave my class +5 EC on the FINAL grade if you did two page essay

Rarely clear; aside from the accent, he doesn't do a good job at explaining. His homework is a nightmare. It seems as though he only allows one specific process to do each problem in the homework, which he never really clarifies until it's too late.

Dr. Teklu is very nice and reasonable. The tests are very similar to the homework problems. Anyone with a basic understanding of college level math can do very well in this course. The lecture is a little dry if you are not a Physics major but some of the concepts are fascinating. If you allow it, the course will expand your mind.

You really have to be stupid not to take his class, it is so EASY. We had 2 quizzes/3 test/3 Homeworks & final. Don't get me wrong he's exceptionally boring but it's worth it for an easy grade in a science class.

So, he assigned homework, and then would delay the due date a few days. We did not cover what we should have. People are too unforgiving of an accent. It is heavy, and takes a while to get used to. Do not let this defer you, for he gives plenty of opportunity to participate in class. Tests were just homework problems. PIECE OF CAKE.

If you are not a physics person I would definetly say to stray away from this professor. He's a very nice guy, but terrible at explaining concepts. Notes are hard to follow as is his thick accent. Very time consuming homework problems every week. The people who knew physics before did well, but don't take him for your first physics class.

He is really a nice guy! It is clear that he cares about his students. Gives lots of exmpls in class which makes things a little easier. He is always willing to help by email, call or office hrs. I would definitely take him again! Tests are easier than HW so make sure you can do his HW probs, & they're notbtoo bad. He helps with HW if you ask.

A wonderful teacher. Notes were very structured and easy to follow. Tests were straight from the homework. Didn't assign too much homework. Always willing to answer questions about the homework. One of the best teachers I've ever had.
