Comment:

Reyes is a very hard teacher. I would recommend to never take her class. Here's why: She doesn't explain spanish sentences in english, she teaches one subject then moves on to a different one the next day, doesn't teach structures of sentences, too much homework and papers, and finally very impatient. Never take Reyes's class. Worst decision ever.

Comment:

Alright if you want to survive this class, you need to be on top of your game. You can't be lazy when it comes to the Spanish language. Exams are given weekly since it's a short six week course. I'm a non-native speaker and I managed to do well on the class. Pay attention, and make sure you do your homework and DO the OPTIONAL workbook pages.

P. Reyes loves Hispanic culture, however, if you arent a native speaker I wouldnt recommend. This class is not helpful if you like to study early. Exams are taken at the end of class & new material is crammed right before; therefore forcing students to study & learn the material on their own beforehand in order to gain a good grasp on the concept

Prof. Reyes is a great professor. She is very willing to help and very knowledgeable in Spanish language. If you are looking for an easy grader, do not take her class. But, if you want to really learn Spanish so that you can really use it outside of classroom, I highly recommend her class. You cannot master a foreign language without work!

P. Reyes has to be one of the best professors I've had at Mt. Sac. She takes the time to understand her students & really wants to see us succeed. She lays everything out for you on the first day of school, with that information she gives you every chance to pass the class, you just have to be willing to take it. 10/10 would recommend!

Professor Reyes was the best Spanish teacher I ever had. She explains the concepts really well and makes it easy for non-native Spanish speakers to understand. The activities help a lot and she teaches you everything that's on the test. She keeps the class engaged and was never too boring during lectures. I definitely recommend taking her class.

I enjoyed having professor Reyes.! She was the first teacher I had at mt. Sac. I took her fall 2016. She's an amazing teacher. She's there to help if you ask. Occasional pop "quizzes" and by quizzes I mean you partner up and speak a small scenario in Spanish. I do recommend her. Her final wasn't difficult either.

Andrea is a sweet heart. She wishes too see you pass and always tries to understand. Sure, she needs some fashion consultations but I still love her. She was such a good teacher and expressed so much patience. this is the second time I took this class and she is far better than my previous evil professor.

Worthless class in my opinion. The truth is, she does not teach well in my opinion. If you speak Spanish she will talk with you and you will pass in my opinion. If you need instruction, this very bad teacher (in my opinion) will not help you. Get away! There are much better choices.

She is to Mt. Sac what George Bush is to the Presidency. Many are correct here, if you already speak Spanish you'll love this class. If you need instruction, clarity and help, run like a cheetah away from her class. She is HORRIBLE!

very nice. pay attention and you'll get it. if you have any questions, she is easily approachable and very helpful. decent test, not too difficult. ask questions and she'll like you. homework and projects are easy. doesn't like tardiness or class clowns.

boring, treats students like high school students, hates people that are late, need to go to the bathroom, and talking if u do any of those things she stares u down with an evil eye. she also gets easily mad if u dont know the answer to her question or if u dont get her teachings.. didnt like her much. hated going to class.
